Event Details The Resort at Summerlin will host The Neighborhood Food Hall community Block Party on Saturday, August 1 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the property's newest dining destination in Las Vegas. The day-long celebration invites guests to sample offerings from multiple restaurant concepts while supporting Project 150, a nonprofit serving homeless and at-risk high school students. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Guests can purchase a Food Hall Passport to unlock tasting portions from each participating restaurant, with all donations directed to Project 150.
Dining Lineup The Neighborhood Food Hall features six distinct concepts that opened as part of the property's $75 million renovation: ai Pazzi and ai Pazzi Pizza represent celebrity chef Fabio Viviani's Italian offerings—the former providing full-service dining with handmade pasta and fresh seafood, the latter a counter-service pizzeria. Pearls Oyster & Crudo Bar, also from Viviani, specializes in freshly shucked oysters, lobster rolls, and seafood boils. Nom Wah marks the New York City institution's first West Coast location. The restaurant, which has operated in Manhattan since 1920, is known for authentic Cantonese dim sum and signature dumplings. Tacos 1986, a Los Angeles street-taco stand that launched in 2018, features hand-made corn tortillas and Tijuana-style preparations. For The Win is a Southern California smash-burger concept that opened in 2020, featuring high-quality patties smashed thin with grilled onions and the restaurant's signature fry sauce on toasted Martin's potato buns. Guests will also access a tasting station from Wineaux, the property's new lobby bar and lounge from James Beard Award winner Shawn McClain and master sommelier Nick Hetzel.
Community Partnership Project 150 operates across 75 high schools in Southern Nevada and 30 in Reno, providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities for students experiencing homelessness or challenging circumstances. Registration for passports is available online at theresortatsummerlin.com and in-person the day of the event. The Resort at Summerlin is located at 221 North Rampart Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89145.
Why It Matters
The Block Party demonstrates how hospitality venues can leverage new dining concepts for community impact.
For operators, the event model—combining tasting experiences with charitable giving—offers a replicable template for generating traffic, introducing multiple concepts simultaneously, and building local goodwill.
