Experiential Brand Plants Flag in Vegas With 30,000-Square-Foot Flagship Museum of Ice Cream opened its newest and largest location at AREA15's Zone 2 in Las Vegas on July 3, marking the brand's expansion into a 30,000-square-foot space designed around Vegas glamour and excess. Tickets start at $42. The location features 14 immersive installations, including The Golden Scoop Buffet—described as the world's largest all-you-can-eat ice cream buffet with more than 20 flavors, dozens of toppings, and novelties included with admission. Other attractions include a two-story Sprinkle Pool, five slides (the longest a double-helix design), a wedding chapel shaped like a tiered cake, and what the company calls the world's first ice cream-tasting magic show. "Half a decade in the making. That's what Museum of Ice Cream Las Vegas represents. We didn't come to Las Vegas to do what we've done before. We came to build the wildest, most immersive, most interactive experience we have ever created," said Manish Vora, Co-Founder & CEO of Museum of Ice Cream. Additional features include a temporary tattoo parlor, a costume rental shop with nearly 100 pieces, three hotel-themed "sweets" for various experiences, and a vintage supper club atmosphere. The venue also houses The Cone-sino, a family-friendly entertainment floor with themed bar service. Museum of Ice Cream operates locations in New York City, Miami, Chicago, Boston, Singapore, with Los Angeles and Orlando slated to open soon. The brand has welcomed millions of guests across its portfolio since launch.
Why It Matters
Museum of Ice Cream's expansion into Vegas signals the maturation of experiential entertainment venues that monetize through admission fees and ancillary revenue (food, merchandise, private events). The all-you-can-eat buffet model and wedding chapel availability suggest the brand is testing venue diversification—moving beyond pure experience retail into hospitality and event rental. For operators, this represents a proven traffic driver in a mixed-use entertainment district, where footfall from competing attractions (Meow Wolf, Universal Horror Unleashed) can feed into Museum of Ice Cream's ecosystem.
