A Quarter-Century Milestone for Miami's Dining Month Miami Spice Restaurant Month, one of America's longest-running restaurant promotion programs, returns for its 25th season Aug. 1 through Sept. 30, featuring 300+ restaurants—a marked expansion from the 56 establishments that launched the program in 2002. Last year saw 387 restaurants participate, underscoring the program's growth alongside Miami's emergence as a major U.S. dining destination.
New Premium Tiers and Michelin Partnerships The 2026 season introduces Miami Spice Reserve, a new tier of elevated prix-fixe and tasting menu experiences starting at $95 at select restaurants. The program now includes 18 Michelin-recognized properties: one two-star, four one-star, one Green Star, five Bib Gourmands, and eight Michelin Recommended venues. Participating Michelin restaurants include L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, Stubborn Seed, Ariete, Cote, and Le Jardinier.
Experience-Driven Offerings and Brand Partnerships Beyond standard fixed-price menus, Miami Spice is emphasizing exclusive culinary experiences unavailable outside the promotion window—intimate omakase dinners, chef's tables, and bluefin tuna cutting ceremonies. The 25th anniversary season features limited-edition collaborations with The Tank Brewing Co., Tabañero, and Voodoo Doughnut created exclusively for the milestone. Select restaurants will offer curated wine pairings featuring Louis Pommery California sparkling wine and Château La Gordonne rosé. Uber Eats will provide exclusive in-app deals at participating locations.
Why It Matters
The evolution of Miami Spice reflects a broader industry shift: diners increasingly equate value with overall experience rather than price alone. The program's expansion to premium tiers and experiential offerings signals how restaurant promotions are adapting to consumer demand for both memorable dining and convenience options.
