Ribbon Cutting Scheduled for September 10 Guy Fieri and FACE Amusement Group will host the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at Myrtle Beach Mall. The public is invited to attend the outdoor ceremony, which will feature Fieri, FACE executives, community leaders and special guests. Following the public event, access to the venue will be limited to local first responders, contest winners and other invited guests. The facility will reopen for normal business on September 11, 2026.
Dining, Gaming and Entertainment Under One Roof The 50,000-square-foot facility combines a full-service Guy Fieri restaurant with approximately 460 seats, more than 100 arcade games, 14 bowling lanes, the Freaky Tiki Bar, craft cocktails and private event rooms accommodating groups of more than 80 guests. The restaurant features Fieri's signature menu items including Trash Can Nachos, the Bacon Mac 'N' Cheeseburger and scratch-made dishes, alongside a full-service bar offering craft cocktails, beer and specialty drinks. The venue is the second Downtown Flavortown location, following the original in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. It is designed to serve families, couples, groups, local residents and the millions of visitors who travel to the Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand area annually.
Operator Perspective "We're excited to officially celebrate Downtown Flavortown Myrtle Beach with the Grand Strand community," said Bucky Mabe, CEO of FACE Amusement Group. "The response since opening has been tremendous, and this ribbon cutting is an opportunity to recognize everyone who helped bring this incredible destination to life. We wanted to create a place where families, friends, locals and visitors could eat, play and make memories together, and we look forward to welcoming even more guests to experience everything Downtown Flavortown has to offer." Fieri added: "Myrtle Beach—it's time to make it official! Downtown Flavortown is all about bringing people together with killer food, real deal drinks and nonstop fun. From the Freaky Tiki Bar to bowling and the huge gaming floor, we've built a place where families and friends can make great memories. I can't wait to celebrate with everyone at the ribbon cutting!"
Why It Matters
The venue represents a hybrid concept combining QSR operations with FEC (Family Entertainment Center) revenue streams—a model that FACE Amusement Group has scaled across multiple branded properties. For operators, the Myrtle Beach location demonstrates demand for all-weather indoor entertainment destinations in high-traffic leisure markets, particularly those that bundle dining, gaming and events in a single location to extend customer dwell time.
