Saudi Pavilion Opens at Taste of London The Saudi Culinary
Arts Commission has officially opened its "Taste of Saudi Culture" pavilion at Taste of London 2026, marking the Kingdom's fourth consecutive participation in the festival. The activation runs June 17–21 at Regent's Park.
What's on Offer The pavilion features traditional Saudi dishes including
haneeth, balila, and mutabbaq, alongside Saudi-inspired beverages and ice cream flavors made with local ingredients such as kleija and sidr honey. A curated selection of Saudi food and craft brands spans pottery, perfumes, chocolate, dates, teas, coffee, and dried fruits and nuts.
Strategic Positioning Under the Ministry of Culture's 11 sector-specific commissions,
the Culinary Arts Commission—founded in 2020—is tasked with developing the Kingdom's culinary sector. The commission drives investment and builds regulatory frameworks to support Saudi chefs and hospitality professionals.
Why It Matters For UK foodservice operators and hospitality venues,
the pavilion signals sustained international interest in Middle Eastern culinary experiences and heritage-driven food tourism. The participation underscores Saudi Arabia's broader push to position itself as a culinary destination and export market for traditional and contemporary food products.
