Legend-Led Tours Return to Punk Rock Museum
The Punk Rock Museum in Las Vegas is enlisting punk royalty as tour guides throughout June, with Los Lobos' Steve Berlin leading tours June 5-7, followed by Chumbawamba's Danbert Nobacon on June 7. Additional guides include Bane's Aaron Dalbec (June 12-14), Goldfinger's Charlie Paulson (June 19-21), and TSOL's Jack Grisham (June 26-28).
Weekly Film Screenings and Art Exhibition
Every Friday in June, the museum screens "40 Years of Fuckin' Up," with doors opening at 8:30 p.m. and screenings starting at 9:00 p.m. Film ticket holders receive 25% off general admission.
The venue also launches "Tiki Punk 2: The Confluence of Tiki & Punk Art" on June 6 at 7 p.m., celebrating the intersection of two 1980s Southern California countercultures. The exhibition features artwork by Doug Horne, Ken Ruzic, Candy, Thomas Fernandez, Reesenik, Scott Sugiuchi, Stephen Blickenstaff, Atomikitty, and Kymm! Bang, curated by BigToe. Opening night includes live tiki music in the Three Star Bar, with limited-edition prints, tiki mugs, and surprise merchandise drops planned throughout the summer.

Artifact Spotlight: Adrian Young's No Doubt Drums
June's artifact of the month features three stage-played snare drums from No Doubt drummer Adrian Young on loan to the museum: a 13" top/14" bottom "Volcano" snare drum, a 13x6.5" green sparkle OCDP snare, and a 13x7" 20-ply pink painted OCDP snare. The drums reflect the visual flair and sonic impact that defined the band's rise from Orange County ska-punk clubs to global arenas, including recent Las Vegas Sphere performances.
Why It Matters
For venue operators and experiential entertainment venues, the Punk Rock Museum's strategy of layering guided experiences, live music, pop-up exhibitions, and merchandise drops demonstrates how to maximize venue utilization and extend audience dwell time. The combination of branded bar programming, rotating artist-in-residence opportunities, and limited-edition drops creates recurring reasons for repeat visitation—a critical metric for museum sustainability beyond opening season novelty.
