Marsha's South Street, Philadelphia's first women's sports bar, is rolling out a special "For the Birds" menu to align with the Eagles' 2026 regular season. The offerings will be available during every Philadelphia Eagles game throughout the season, beginning September 13. The menu features bird-themed items including "Bird Feed Chicken Skewers" coated in sesame seeds, "Turkey Tail Meatballs," and "Angry Bird Sliders"—all served on a bed of crispy fried onions. "Nest Nachos" tops fried corn tortilla chips with seasoned ground turkey, cheese sauce, jalapeños, diced tomato, and sour cream. "Philly is for the Birds," said founder Chivonn Anderson. "This menu is our way of celebrating how important football is to the city, and creating a space for everyone to feel comfortable cheering on our team. As a lifelong Philadelphian, I know how important Sunday football is to this city, and I want to celebrate it here on South Street." The bar will complement the menu with special events, drinks, and deals throughout the season. Located at 430 South Street, Marsha's positions itself as an inclusive venue for all Philadelphia sports fans, with a focus on women's sports programming alongside local team coverage.

Why It Matters

The move reflects how venues are using themed menus and event programming to drive foot traffic during major sports seasons. For operators in competitive urban markets, seasonal sports tie-ins—particularly around local franchises—remain a reliable traffic driver when paired with distinctive branding and inclusive community positioning.
