KFC has launched Hot Ranch Big Dip, a new sauce that combines creamy ranch with heat, available in a 4-ounce cup—double the standard size of the chain's typical sauce offerings. The product builds on KFC's recent sauce portfolio expansion, which includes Jalapeño Ranch and Sweet Chili Crisp. The chain cites consumer research showing 75% of consumers say they like or love ranch as rationale for the new offering. To drive awareness, KFC partnered with streaming personality IShowSpeed. On launch day, IShowSpeed visited a Miami KFC location and ordered the new item live on stream.

Menu Applications Beyond the sauce itself, Hot Ranch Big Dip appears in new menu items: Hot Ranch Loaded Wedges and meals pairing the sauce with Double Crispy Hot Wings and Potato Wedges. All offerings are available nationwide.

Why It Matters

The move reflects how QSR chains are leveraging creator partnerships and portion-forward formats to differentiate commodity condiments. Ranch remains one of America's most consumed dipping sauces, making incremental innovation in this category a low-risk, high-volume play for operators seeking menu refresh at minimal complexity.
