Coravin Launches Expanded Guide in New York and Miami

Coravin, the wine by-the-glass systems company, is extending its Coravin Guide into New York and Miami, building on editions already established in California and Las Vegas. The expansion arrives as consumer interest in premium by-the-glass wines accelerates across North America.

The move caps a period of growing demand for diverse wine programs. According to Coravin's 2025 Wine By-The-Glass Report, 54% of consumers in the U.S., UK, and Australia report ordering wine by-the-glass more frequently than two years prior—rising to 58% among American consumers. Younger diners aged 25-44 are particularly active, showing higher willingness to spend $16–$30+ per pour.

Open Submission Period Underway

Coravin is now accepting submissions from restaurants, hotels, bars, and private clubs in both cities. Participation is free and open to all qualifying venues, regardless of whether they currently use Coravin equipment.

The guide uses a tiering system: One Glass (20–40 wines), Two Glasses (41–60), Three Glasses (60+), and Greg's Hidden Gems for smaller curated programs.

Consumer Appetite Shapes Programming

Coravin's research identified what diners want: broader selections, seasonal rotations, half-pours, sampling opportunities, and quality assurances. "Guests today want more freedom and flexibility to explore wine," says Greg Lambrecht, Coravin's founder and inventor. "What's exciting is seeing sommeliers respond with incredibly creative by-the-glass programs that encourage discovery and make premium wines more approachable. The Coravin Guide was created to recognize those teams and help consumers around the world discover these experiences."

CEO Dave Krupinski emphasized the sommelier role: "We believe sommeliers are one of the driving forces behind today's evolving wine culture. The Coravin Guide gives visibility to the restaurants and beverage professionals who are driving a deeper connection with wine and turning wine by-the-glass into a more engaging and memorable part of the dining experience."

Why It Matters

For operators, the data signals a sustainable revenue opportunity. Coravin's preservation technology enables restaurants to offer broader selections and dynamic rotation without waste or quality degradation. The guide recognition—particularly for venues investing in sommelier-led experiences and interactive tastings—can drive traffic from wine-curious consumers seeking curated, exploratory dining experiences.
