Award-Winning Chef Rebrands Events Company Into Hospitality Studio Chef Rosana Rivera has officially launched Gatheria Studio, the evolution of her longtime company Events by Chef Rosana. Headquartered in Tampa, the studio produces private celebrations, corporate events, and multi-day retreats nationwide, blending culinary direction, experiential production, and design-focused hospitality. Since 2006, Rivera's company has executed more than 3,500 events for Fortune 500 companies, nonprofit organizations, and private clients. Gatheria Studio expands that scope to include luxury weddings, brand activations, and intimate dinners. "Gatheria represents the evolution of how I've always believed hospitality should feel," Rivera said. "I grew up in a Puerto Rican family where hosting was an expression of love. My grandmother would begin cooking days before gatherings, and every detail mattered because it was about how people felt when they walked into the room. That perspective continues to shape everything we create today." Rivera also serves as Operating Partner of RC Hospitality Group, overseeing culinary and experiential strategy across its hospitality portfolio. She is co-founder of Chef & The Baker, a European-inspired bakery concept with Chef Ricardo Castro. Rivera gained national recognition as the only Latina chef to defeat Bobby Flay on Food Network's Beat Bobby Flay (Season 22).
Why It Matters
The rebrand signals a shift in how established event companies are repositioning themselves post-pandemic—moving beyond traditional catering language toward experiential hospitality. Operators in the events and private dining space should note how Gatheria Studio emphasizes design integration, customization at scale, and emotional engagement as competitive differentiators in a crowded market.
