Korean-inspired flavors are hitting the convenience foodservice aisle at scale: 7-Eleven is deploying a Flavors of Korea menu across participating 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes locations, with eight new or reformulated items spanning hot foods, chilled ready-to-eat, and the roller grill. The promotion runs through early January 2027, giving operators one of the longest limited-time Korean flavor windows in the convenience channel.

The Menu Lineup

The breadth of the program signals a deliberate effort to apply Korean flavor profiles across multiple foodservice dayparts and formats rather than limiting the launch to a single SKU or category. Hot-foods additions include Gochujang Boneless Wings (8-piece for $5) and a Korean Style BBQ Seasoned Sausage on the roller grill, while bibigo-branded Spicy Chicken Dumplings (10-piece for $5) anchor the prepared-snack segment. A bibigo Korean BBQ-Style Pizza layers seasoned beef, caramelized onions, shoestring carrots and bibigo Korean BBQ sauce over a mozzarella-cheddar blend. On the chilled side, the K Noodle Salad features sōmen noodles, kimchi, napa cabbage and a gochujang dressing, and the K Town Chicken Salad Sando lands on fire-and-milk marble bread. The Korean-Style BBQ Sauced Taquito rounds out the hot-foods set by remixing 7-Eleven's existing taquito platform with K-BBQ seasoning.

At Raise the Roost locations, a Seoul Style Sweet Heat Chicken Sandwich and a $5 Crave Combo featuring limited-time Korean BBQ nuggets extend the program into the chain's chicken-focused quick-service footprint.

Loyalty and Marketing Integration

The rollout pairs product with a loyalty incentive: 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members — a combined base of more than 100 million members — can add a 20-ounce Coke or Pepsi for $1 when purchasing two pizza slices, bibigo dumplings, gochujang wings, or a deli sandwich. The offer is available through early January 2027 at participating stores.

The marketing layer extends into social content with a seven-episode K-drama mini-series airing on 7-Eleven and Speedway Instagram and TikTok channels. Episodes began November 2, with new 60-second installments dropping every Monday and Thursday through November 23. Each episode spotlights a Flavors of Korea menu item and triggers a limited-time discount on that product — a tactic that ties content engagement directly to transaction incentives, a model increasingly relevant to convenience and foodservice operators watching social-commerce conversion.

"With the Flavors of Korea menu, we're giving customers even more ways to explore Korean-inspired cuisine, whether they're trying something completely new or enjoying a fresh take on a longtime favorite," said Brandon Brown, Senior Vice President, Fresh Foods and Beverages at 7-Eleven, Inc.

Why This Launch Matters

For the broader foodservice industry, the program illustrates how Korean flavors — gochujang, doenjang, Korean BBQ seasoning, kimchi — have matured from trend to mainstream ingredient toolkit. The fact that 7-Eleven is threading these profiles through wings, pizza, roller grill sausage, and chilled salads simultaneously suggests the flavor set now carries enough consumer recognition to anchor a multi-format LTO rather than serve as a novelty accent. Operators in fast casual and QSR watching global flavor adoption across foodservice segments will find 7-Eleven's menu architecture a useful barometer of where Korean-inspired cuisine sits in the convenience mainstream. The bibigo partnership also underscores the growing role of branded ingredient suppliers in lending credibility and recognition to convenience-channel foodservice programs.
