Wendy's Taps Minions Franchise for Summer Promotion
Wendy's is launching a limited-time Minions & Monsters Meal promotion, coinciding with Illumination's new film chapter. The tie-in offers separate adult and kids' versions, both featuring exclusive merchandise and new menu items.
What's on the Menu
Starting June 15, the adult meal includes a choice of Big Bacon Classic or new Spicy Chicken Sandwich, small fries, and a new Banana Frosty Swirl—vanilla Frosty base with banana cream sauce swirled throughout. One of four exclusive blind box collectibles rounds out the offering.
The kids' meal, available now, features a choice of 2-piece chicken tenders, 4-piece nuggets, hamburger, or cheeseburger, paired with Jr. fries or apple bites, a kids' drink, and one of six character toys: James, Henry, Ed, Richard, Goomi, or Dort.
Two new Coca-Cola Freestyle beverages inspired by the film's characters—Pineapple Minion MischieFizz and Goomi's Glimey Lime—complement the meal lineup.
In-Store Activation
Los Angeles-area customers can experience an immersive drive-thru takeover at Wendy's Norwalk location (12138 Imperial Hwy.) on Thursday, June 11, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
