The Wellington, a neighborhood restaurant in Belmont's historic center, has appointed Joe Arkinstall as general manager, effective immediately. Arkinstall, a former co-owner of Stone Hearth Pizza, brings extensive hospitality and operational experience to the role. As general manager, he oversees front-of-house service, staff development, inventory management, scheduling, guest relations, and day-to-day business performance. "Joe embodies everything we value at The Wellington – hospitality, professionalism, and a commitment to community," said Dante de Magistris, chef owner at The Wellington. "His experience and passion for the restaurant industry make him an outstanding leader for our team and an important part of our future." A native of England, Arkinstall is known throughout the Boston area for his personable approach to hospitality and hands-on management style. He has built a reputation for strong team leadership and exceptional guest service. "The restaurant business is ultimately about people," said Arkinstall. The Wellington, located at 75 Leonard Street, offers American cuisine, craft cocktails, and local and imported beers and wines.
