Partnership Expands Wavelength's Retail Footprint
Wavelength Coffee Roasters has secured a vendor agreement with Revival Cafe and Kitchen, bringing the Shirley-based specialty roaster's Hacienda La Minita from Costa Rica to six greater Boston locations.
The partnership marks a significant expansion for Wavelength, which launched in 2025 with a focus on electric, solar-powered roasting. Revival operates locations in Cambridge, Somerville, Watertown, Boston, and Lexington.
The Coffee: La Minita's Pedigree
Hacienda La Minita originates from a 1,200-acre estate in Costa Rica's Tarrazú valley, one of the world's most celebrated coffee-growing regions. The estate manages production at every stage—hand-tended, hand-picked, hand-sorted. Only fully ripened cherries are harvested. The resulting cup is smooth and full-bodied, with notes of baking chocolate, red plum, and sweet citrus. Coffee Review scored it 94 points, and it carries Rainforest Alliance Certification.
The Process: All-Electric Roasting
Wavelength roasts the La Minita using all-electric, air-roasting technology powered in part by on-site solar energy. The company packages coffee in fully recyclable steel cans to extend freshness.

Revival's Quality Approach
Revival Cafe and Kitchen launched in 2016, founded by Liza Shirazi of Crema Cafe and chef Steve "Nookie" Postal of Commonwealth Market & Restaurant. The concept pairs exceptional coffee with restaurant-quality food across six locations.
