Website Crashes From Pizza Pass Demand UNO Pizzeria & Grill's limited-edition Pizza Pass sold out within hours of launch, with traffic so heavy it crashed the brand's website. The strong response prompted the Norwood, Massachusetts-based chain to release a second batch of passes.

Second Round of Passes Launches Thursday Additional Pizza Passes go on sale Thursday, Sept. 3 at 3 p.m. ET exclusively at www.mypizzapass.com. The $99 pass (plus tax and gratuity) allows daily visits to participating locations from Saturday, Sept. 5 through Friday, Nov. 13. Pass holders can visit once per day to enjoy unlimited servings of eight deep dish varieties—cheese, pepperoni, sausage, Farmer's Market, Chicago Meat Market—plus unlimited house or Caesar salad and unlimited Pepsi soft drinks. Dine-in only; valid ID matching the pass name required at each visit. At $99 over 71 days, the pass calculates to less than $1.50 per visit.

Bottomless Option for Walk-Ins For customers who miss the pass, UNO is launching Bottomless Pizza & Salad starting Saturday, Sept. 5 for $14.99 per person (plus tax and gratuity). The offer includes unlimited deep dish and house or Caesar salad, dine-in only, with no advance purchase required. Drinks are sold separately. "The response to the Pizza Pass showed us just how much people love the idea of unlimited deep dish," said Chuck Buttiglieri, President of UNO Pizzeria & Grill. "The additional Pizza Passes and Bottomless Pizza & Salad are our way of keeping that experience going for everyone who may have missed out the first time around." UNO operates 45 company-owned and franchised locations across 19 states and internationally.

Why It Matters

Unlimited-portion promotions continue to drive traffic in the casual dining segment, particularly when positioned as limited-time offers that create urgency. The pass format also extends customer lifetime value across 71 days while the bottomless option captures walk-in traffic without advance commitment.
