Art the Clown Takes Over Terror Tram Universal Studios Hollywood has completed its Halloween Horror Nights 2026 lineup with "Terror Tram starring Art the Clown," positioning the slasher villain as the centerpiece of the returning backlot experience. The demented killer arrives with his blood-soaked bag of presents, realizes it's too early for Christmas, and hijacks the tram for his own holiday celebration. Metal band Ice Nine Kills will create new music for the experience, putting a dark twist on classic Christmas songs. Guests who escape Art's chaos on the backlot may encounter him lurking in unsuspecting places throughout the theme park.

New Original Houses and Returning Attractions The event adds two original haunted houses to the 2026 roster. "KILLceañera: Music by SLASH" centers on Lola's quinceañera, where the rite of passage for fifteen-year-old girls becomes a festival of death. Grammy Award-winning guitarist SLASH composes an original score featuring Spanish guitar and an exclusive song titled "15 Candles." "Dead, Deader, Deadest" takes guests through an abandoned funeral home where disturbing acts once occurred. The fan-favorite "Killer Klowns from Outer Space" returns, along with previously announced houses including "Sinners," "Stranger Things," "Hellraiser," "Evil Dead Burn," and "Ozzy Osbourne: Prince of Darkness." The "Purge: Dangerous Waters" stunt show returns to the WaterWorld venue.

Character Meet-and-Greets and Scare Zones Freaky Nikki from Focus Features' "Obsession" will appear nightly throughout the event. Multiple scare zones populate the park, including "Hackerz" featuring chainsaw killers, "Fortnitemares" based on Fortnite's horror event, "El Circo de la Muerte" centered on 1930s Mexican circus acts, and "Blood Bog" with moss monsters in bayous. Street experiences include the returning "Murder of Crowz" and "Shriek of the Banshee."

New Daytime Tour Option For the first time, Universal Studios Hollywood debuts "Unmasking the Horror Tour Add-On," a daytime behind-the-scenes experience offering guided, lights-on walkthroughs of the "Sinners" and "KILLceañera: Music by SLASH" houses with insights into the creative process and designated photography areas. Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights from Thursday, September 3 through Sunday, November 1. Ticket options include General Admission, Universal Express, R.I.P. Tour, Day/Night Ticket, Early Access, Frequent Fear Pass, and Ultimate Fear Pass. Select theme park attractions remain open during the event, including SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, "Transformers: The Ride-3D," "Revenge of the Mummy," and "The Simpsons Ride."
