Top Chef Champion Lands Marquee Aspen Debut

Rhoda Magbitang, winner of Bravo's Top Chef Season 23, will host an intimate dinner experience at Hotel Jerome in Aspen on June 18–21 as part of the hotel's sixth annual Epicurean Passport Weekend. The one-night-only event, called "The Winner's Table," represents one of the earliest opportunities for diners to experience Magbitang's cuisine following her recent victory.

A Marquee Moment for Aspen's Summer Food Calendar

Epicurean Passport Weekend runs parallel to Aspen Food & Wine and brings together chefs, luxury brands, vintners, and cocktail innovators for four days of immersive experiences. The weekend attracts industry professionals and affluent diners seeking exclusive culinary access during Aspen's peak summer season.

Programming Beyond the Winner's Table

The weekend includes tasting experiences and masterclasses led by Felix Roasting Co., Judgment of Paris, Petrossian, Laurent-Perrier, and Casa Dragones. Hotel Jerome's subterranean cocktail lounge, Bad Harriet, will feature Death & Co. behind the bar.

A "Night of SHE" celebrates female chefs and vintners, featuring Sofia Cortina (Latin America's Best Pastry Chef, 2020), James Beard Awards finalist Daisy Ryan of Bell's in Los Alamos, Melissa Perello of Frances and Octavia, and Suzanne Tracht of Jar. The weekend concludes with a garden-side recovery brunch hosted by PopUp Bagels and Petrossian, served with crystal glassware by Waterford.

Why It Matters

For hotel operators and luxury travel brands, high-profile chef partnerships during marquee dining events drive occupancy and strengthen positioning in the competitive experiential luxury market. Aspen's ability to secure post-victory Top Chef moments underscores the destination's continued influence as a hospitality hub for industry tastemakers.
