Brickell Fine-Dining Venue Hosts Chef Eduardo Morali for September 1 Event The Mexican, a Northern Mexican fine-dining restaurant that opened recently in Miami's Brickell Key neighborhood, will host Chef Eduardo Morali of Pangea, a Michelin-starred restaurant based in Monterrey, for an exclusive one-night culinary experience on Tuesday, September 1st. The event marks the second iteration of a partnership between the two concepts, following a successful collaboration at The Mexican's flagship location in Dallas last year. Pangea has maintained its Michelin star for the past two years and has been named one of Latin America's 50 best restaurants for the past decade.

Menu and Format Guests will experience a four-course tasting menu that pairs contemporary Mexican cuisine with The Mexican's hospitality offerings. Specific dishes include Scallop Raspado with tomatillo, green apple, and Kaffir lime; Summer Corn Velouté with foie gras cremeux and chilhuacle chile; and seared Wagyu Carne asada with barbacoa-stuffed onion, smoked potato, and charred chile adobo. Two seatings will accommodate the event: noon to 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Only 350 tickets will be available. Tickets are priced at $225 per guest, with an optional $85 wine pairing. Reservations are available exclusively through OpenTable.

Owner Statement "We're excited to partner with Pangea to bring a uniquely authentic Michelin-star Mexican experience to our new Miami audience," said Roberto González Alcalá, owner and founder of The Mexican. "The roots of Mexican culture are the heart of what we do, and partnering with Pangea again this year allows us to fuse our concepts to create a completely new approach for guests to enjoy this time around."

Why It Matters

For Miami's fine-dining operators, this collaboration demonstrates the competitive advantage of securing high-profile chef partnerships and Michelin-affiliated talent to drive covers and premiumization. The event underscores the city's growing appeal as a destination for elevated Mexican dining experiences.
