SERA at Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa will host a one-night Ki One Whisky Pairing Dinner on Friday, Aug. 14, pairing the restaurant's menu with whiskies from Ki One Distillery, South Korea's first single malt whisky distillery. Limited to 25 guests, the four-course dinner begins at 6 p.m. in SERA's private dining room. The menu opens with Smoked Ahi Dip served with Ki One Unicorn, followed by Roasted Jidori Chicken with Ki One Eagle and slow-braised Short Rib with Ki One Tiger. Dessert features Maui Kula Chocolate Tart with strawberry sorbet, yuzu whip and pistachio crumble, accompanied by Ki One Limited Edition. "Korea's dramatic seasonal changes influence how Ki One's whisky matures, creating layered flavors that give our culinary team a strong foundation for each pairing," said Javier Pastrana, director of food and beverage at Renaissance Honolulu Hotel & Spa. "This dinner gives Honolulu diners an opportunity to experience Korean single malt through a menu designed to bring out the character of each whisky."
About the Distillery Founded in 2020, Ki One Distillery produces single malt whisky that reflects Korea's distinct climate and traditional craftsmanship.
