A $30 Cold Brew Pass and a fully revamped seasonal menu headline Peet's Coffee's 2026 fall rollout, now live at participating coffeebars nationwide. The subscription-style pass — available for purchase September 1 through September 30 — entitles loyalty members (called Peetniks) to one medium Cold Brew daily for 30 consecutive days, plus 2X bonus Peetnik Rewards points on any order that includes a warm food or pastry item. The timing anchors the promotion to National Coffee Day, giving operators a structured hook for driving repeat traffic through an otherwise quiet shoulder period.
The Menu Additions
Beyond the pass, Peet's is expanding in two directions that reflect broader foodservice trends: functional nutrition and flavor novelty. Three new Protein Smoothies — Caramel Apple, Cold Brew, and Strawberry — each deliver 19 grams of total protein, tapping into the high-protein beverage segment that has gained significant traction across quick-service and café channels. On the flavor-novelty side, Sparkling Green Apple Energy enters the lineup as an extension of Peet's sparkling energy platform, combining Granny Smith apple purée, club soda, approximately 80mg of plant-derived caffeine, L-theanine, and 100% of the daily recommended value of Vitamin B-12.
Returning pumpkin staples — the Pumpkin Latte and Pumpkin Chai Latte — are joined by the new Vanilla Dream Top, a velvety cream topping designed for iced drinks. A second wave of limited-time beverages drops October 5 and runs through November 3: an Iced Pumpkin Matcha Latte with Vanilla Dream Top and a Pumpkin Cold Brew with Vanilla Dream Top, both leaning into the matcha-meets-pumpkin crossover that has picked up steam on social platforms.
Seasonal Food and Retail
The food program adds three new items — Pumpkin Bread with cream cheese icing, Mini Bacon Biscuit Bites, and a Home Harvest Pretzwich featuring cranberry jalapeño chicken sausage and fontina on a warm pretzel bun — alongside the returning Cardamom Morning Bun. These additions give café operators incremental attach-rate opportunities, particularly when paired with the Cold Brew Pass's built-in bonus points for warm food purchases.
Rounding out the seasonal push is the 2026 Vine & Walnut Autumn Blend, a limited-edition medium roast sold in-store and online that Peet's frames as an homage to its original Berkeley coffeebar. For operators tracking how legacy specialty-coffee brands are using seasonal exclusives to defend premium positioning against value-focused competition, the blend signals continued investment in origin storytelling and retail coffee sales alongside the beverage program.
"Fall is one of the most anticipated seasons at Peet's, when Peetniks come back for the comforting flavors and traditions they love most," said Cara Schlanger, Director of Retail Marketing at Peet's Coffee. "From the return of our Cold Brew Pass to the arrival of seasonal favorites like our Pumpkin Latte and new innovations like the expansion of sparkling energy to include Green Apple, this year's offerings are designed to give Peetniks more ways to enjoy the flavors of fall."
The full fall menu is available now through the Peetnik Rewards app and in-store. For operators benchmarking subscription-beverage loyalty mechanics, the Cold Brew Pass model is worth watching alongside broader restaurant loyalty program trends and the continued rise of functional beverage innovation in foodservice.
