Sports Bar and Dive Bar Launch at Historic Downtown Venue

207 Peachtree, a 45,000-square-foot entertainment and dining destination in Downtown Atlanta, will open two of its planned six concepts on Wednesday, June 17: Peachtree Sporting Club, an upscale sports bar, and American Dive, a classic dive bar with live music.

The venue occupies a restored 1920s building on the corner of Peachtree Street and Andrew Young International Boulevard, originally home to Regenstein's Department Store. The $10.5 million modernization by Marx Realty preserved original architectural features including hardwood floors, oversized windows, and terracotta barrel-vaulted ceilings.

Peachtree Sporting Club Details

Peachtree Sporting Club, located on the third floor, combines full-service dining with game-day atmosphere. The 100-seat space features over 100 screens, including a 20-foot video wall for football, baseball, soccer, hockey, tennis and fight broadcasts.

The concept also offers private sports suites with Tournament-grade simulator bays for interactive gameplay. Suites are reservable via OpenTable and available for walk-ins, with premium seating, food, and cocktail service.

Signature menu items include the Grand Sampler Trio (wings, pretzel bites, fried pickles), Smokehouse Flatbread with smoked chicken and five-cheese blend, Southwest Chicken Club Wrap, and Steak & Frites. The bar offers domestic and global beers, craft cocktails, wines by the glass and bottle, and premium spirits.

Hours: 11am–Midnight daily (kitchen closes 11pm)

American Dive Concept

Located in the building's lower level—once used as a storage vault during the Regenstein era—American Dive emphasizes late-night socializing with live music nightly starting at 7pm, daytime jukebox selections, and casual bar games including pool, darts, and arcade games.

The menu features smoked barbecue and Southern comfort food served late. Offerings include Burnt End Bites, Pit-Smoked Wings, and Pitmaster Trash Can Nachos as starters; handhelds served dive-bar-style with chips; and BBQ plates with smoked brisket, ribs, and Texas Hot Link Sausage, accompanied by sides and five housemade BBQ sauces.

The bar serves ice-cold beer on tap and by the can, wine, cocktails, and daily specials including a Beer, Shot & Hot Dog Special for $12.99 ($9.99 from 4–7pm).

Hand-painted murals by Atlanta artist Kera Sewell of Color Block Media adorn the space.

Hours: 11am–2am daily (kitchen closes 1am); walk-in only

Broader Vision for 207 Peachtree

The property is being developed by RPB Management Group, the Atlanta-based hospitality company behind Red Phone Booth speakeasy lounges and Amalfi Cucina + Mercato. Both existing concepts already operate Downtown Atlanta locations.

When fully open, 207 Peachtree will house six distinct concepts across four floors. In addition to Peachtree Sporting Club and American Dive, the property will include Red Phone Booth, Amalfi, Aire Rooftop Lounge (with city views, elevated cocktails and shareable plates), and a Grand Ballroom event space.

Stephen de Haan, Founder and Chairman of RPB Management Group, said: "Walking into American Dive feels like happening upon a neighborhood bar during a late-night highway stop and deciding to stay awhile. It's a place where you can meet friends for BBQ, ice-cold drinks, live music – or all three."

De Haan added: "Guests will be able to make their visit to 207 Peachtree what they want with a variety of immersive restaurants, bars and venues across four floors. They can catch a game or play a few rounds of simulator golf with drinks and shareable game-day bites at Peachtree Sporting Club, move downstairs for live music at American Dive, head up to the rooftop for DJ beats and drinks, grab authentic Italian at Amalfi or slide into Red Phone Booth for speakeasy vibes and cocktails."

Craig Deitelzweig, President and CEO of Marx Realty, said: "207 Peachtree is a truly special building. Its transformation reflects our longstanding belief in the potential of distinctive, historic buildings and the value of thoughtful repositioning. We are proud of the work we have done to preserve the character of this landmark while preparing it for an exciting new chapter. We are thrilled to be working with the incredible team at RPB Management Group and look forward to its continued success as the concepts bring new energy and experiences to the neighborhood."

Location and Access

The venue is steps from Downtown hotels including The Ritz-Carlton Atlanta and Westin Peachtree Plaza, and within walking distance to Mercedes-Benz Stadium, State Farm Arena, Centennial Yards, Georgia Aquarium, and MARTA's Peachtree Center Station. Public parking decks are nearby, including one at 28 Andrew Young International Blvd NE.

All concepts will accommodate private and semi-private parties for social gatherings and corporate events.

Why It Matters

For operators, 207 Peachtree represents a significant repositioning of a historic Downtown Atlanta asset into a multi-concept entertainment hub, demonstrating demand for experiential dining and entertainment in the central business district. The staggered opening strategy—launching two concepts with four more planned—allows the operator to manage operational complexity while building buzz. The mix of sports bar, dive bar, rooftop lounge, Italian restaurant, and speakeasy aims to capture multiple dayparts and customer segments under one roof, a model that increasingly attracts tourists and locals seeking variety in a single destination.
