Visit Orlando's Magical Dining opens its 21st season on August 14 with a record 188 participating restaurants — up from prior years — offering three-course, prix-fixe menus priced at either $40 or $60, plus tax and gratuity, through September 30. The milestone edition marks the first time a Michelin-starred restaurant has joined the program: ÔMO by Jônt, one of 16 MICHELIN Guide-recognized establishments on the 2026 roster.
What's New This Year
Beyond the Michelin debut, the 38 new additions span a broad range of dining concepts relevant to operators tracking consumer appetite for experiential value. Highlights include two restaurant options inside Universal's Helios Grand Hotel, a rooftop venue with fireworks views, a jazz club with live entertainment, and a private pickleball club restaurant opening its doors to the public exclusively for the Magical Dining window. The diversity of concepts signals that Orlando's restaurant and hospitality operators are leveraging the program as a customer-acquisition tool, using the prix-fixe structure to lower the barrier to trial for new and higher-end venues.
"This is shaping up to be the biggest year in the history of Visit Orlando's Magical Dining, with a record 188 restaurants participating across the destination," said Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. "Few programs create this kind of positive impact for restaurants, diners and our community all at the same time."
Charity Component Approaches $3.3M
The program's charitable mechanism — $1 donated per $40 meal sold, $2 per $60 meal — continues to be a differentiating feature for participating operators who can point guests to a concrete community benefit at the point of sale. The 2026 primary beneficiary is OCA (Opportunity, Community, Ability), which serves individuals with autism and developmental differences. Visit Orlando also distributes $3,000 grants to nonprofits in each of Orange County's six commission districts. Since the charity component launched in 2009, the program has raised nearly $3.3 million for local organizations — a figure that underscores the scale achievable when destination-level dining promotions are structured around measurable giving.
"Being selected as a charity beneficiary of Visit Orlando's Magical Dining is an incredible honor that will help us expand programs that empower individuals with special needs," said Silvia Haas, CEO of OCA.
Hotel Packages Extend the Occasion
Running parallel to Magical Dining, the companion Magical Nights program offers discounted rates and packages at participating Orlando hotels from August 14 through September 30. Properties in the 2026 lineup include Evermore Orlando Resort, Grande Lakes Orlando, Hilton Orlando, Lake Nona Wave, and Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, with more to be added. The hotel component is designed to convert single-night dining occasions into multi-day stays — a conversion strategy that benefits both foodservice operators and lodging properties in a destination market.
Orlando Health returns as presenting sponsor for the third consecutive year in its role as Visit Orlando's official Health & Wellness Partner. "Everyone who participates in Visit Orlando's Magical Dining, from our local community to visitors from around the world, is making a powerful impact," said Erick Hawkins, chief financial officer of Orlando Health and a Visit Orlando board member.
Menus for all 188 participating restaurants are live now at OrlandoMagicalDining.com, giving operators an early window to drive reservations before the August 14 launch.
