Limited-Time Tour Pairs Beer, Food, and Soccer Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom is running the World Taps & Apps Tour through Aug. 16 at participating locations nationwide, capitalizing on summer interest in soccer. The promotion features three national beer partners—Kirin Ichiban, Stella Artois, and Bell's Oberon—alongside three customizable local draft selections that vary by location. The tour also highlights the Berry Cherry Limeade BuzzBallz cocktail and two new appetizers: Crispy Brussels & Cauliflower (Brussels sprouts and cauliflower tossed in sweet chili soy glaze, finished with green onions) and Firecracker Shrimp (crispy shrimp coated in Firecracker sauce, topped with wonton chips and green onions).

## Four New Core Menu Additions Simultaneously, Old Chicago is rolling out four permanent menu items: - Thai Chicken & Noodle Salad: Seasoned chicken served over sweet Thai-marinated noodles, salad greens, and shaved cabbage with crispy wontons, carrots, sweet bell peppers, avocado, toasted sesame seeds, green onions, and soy sesame vinaigrette.
- French Dip Sandwich: Shaved roast beef seasoned with au jus spices, served on a toasted French roll with au jus and horseradish sauce.
- Lemon Butter Chicken: Grilled chicken breast in tangy lemon butter garlic sauce, topped with arugula salad, fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, red onions, and Parmesan, with roasted red potatoes.
- Chicken Rustica: Grilled chicken breast topped with rustic sun-dried tomato cruda with grilled onions, olives, garlic, oregano, olive oil, lemon juice, and house-seasoning, served with roasted red potatoes.

Operator Perspective According to Senior Director of Operations Jeremy Underhill, "Old Chicago has always been a place where people gather to celebrate the moments that bring them together, whether that's cheering on their favorite team, discovering a new beer or sharing great food with friends and family. The World Taps & Apps Tour combines all of those experiences in a way that feels especially fitting during this global soccer event. At the same time, we're continuing to invest in menu innovation with new items that give guests even more reasons to visit—we're creating memorable experiences that keep the excitement going beyond game day while rewarding them for coming back." Guests can unlock rewards and exclusive offers through the OC Rewards program as they progress through the tour. Old Chicago operates more than 52 restaurants across 21 states.

Why It Matters

The promotion demonstrates how casual-dining chains are leveraging seasonal sports events and limited-time offerings to drive traffic during slower summer months, while new menu items provide year-round appeal and competitive differentiation in a crowded pizza-and-taproom segment.
