New Caviar House Emphasizes European, Caribbean, and Miami Influences Ockap Caviar & Cuisine, a new caviar-focused restaurant, has opened in Miami's Brickell neighborhood. Founded by Dominican restaurateur Oscar Andrés Brenes and developed in collaboration with Ducasse Conseil in Paris, the concept centers on caviar sourcing, technique, and service design. The restaurant operates on a flexible dining model that caters to different guest preferences and occasions. Diners can book a traditional caviar service, select from a tasting menu, browse à la carte offerings with custom pairings, order dishes tapas-style for sharing, or dine as they prefer.

Caviar Retail Component Beyond the dining room, Ockap offers its own caviar line for retail purchase, available in tins ranging from 28 grams to 1 kilogram. The selection includes Baerii, Ossetra, Kaluga Hybrid, and Beluga Hybrid varieties.

Why It Matters

The restaurant represents a shift in how caviar is being positioned in the U.S. market—moving beyond exclusive fine dining into a more approachable experiential format. The combination of service flexibility and retail sales creates multiple revenue streams while lowering the barrier to entry for caviar-curious diners.
