New Collaboration Blends Live-Fire Cooking With Cocktail Pairings Miami's Niño Gordo in Wynwood is launching Rum, Fire & Feast, a limited-edition dinner series created in partnership with cocktail expert and ChatChowTV creator Gio Gutierrez. The series debuts Wednesday, July 8, and runs on select Wednesdays through the end of the month. Each evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with a welcome cocktail in the restaurant's hidden bar, Dekotora, before guests move to the main dining room for an intimate family-style service. The meal showcases Niño Gordo's signature Argentine live-fire cooking paired with Asian-inspired flavors.

Cocktail Menu and Rum Pairings Gutierrez crafted four custom cocktails for the series, including a new drink called Burnt Offering, featuring Santa Teresa 1796 rum with notes of banana, coffee, and cracked black pepper. The offering also includes the restaurant's Papaya Daiquiri, Club Náutico, and Jungle Bird. Bacardi La Gran Familia rum pairings complement each course.

The Menu The dinner features hamachi crudo, shiitake dumplings, an exclusive off-menu mollejas course, prime steak, and Niño Gordo's signature miso flan. The Burnt Offering cocktail will remain on the restaurant's permanent menu throughout July.

Event Details The series runs July 8, 15, and 29, with welcome cocktails at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $150 per person, inclusive of food and cocktail pairings. Reservations are available through OpenTable.
