The F&B Program

Mohegan Sun is using its 30th anniversary to put hospitality and dining at the center of an October celebration that runs October 1–12. The property's Signature Stroll program asks nine on-site restaurant venues to resurrect a throwback menu item in honor of a predecessor concept—a format that tells the property's culinary history dish by dish. Beauty & Essex will serve a Stuffed Portabella Mushroom honoring the former Pompeii & Caesar, while Bow & Arrow Sports Bar brings back Lobster Fritters to honor Uncas American Indian Grill. TAO Asian Bistro & Lounge will offer Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps paying tribute to Fidelia's, and Todd English's Tuscany revives Crispy Longhouse Chicken in honor of The Longhouse. Sunrise Square Food Court covers two legacy concepts: Dan Dan Noodles for The Cove's Noodle Bar and Walnut Shrimp for Bamboo Forest. The Crafty Stir Café closes out the list with a Mile High Banana Cream Pie honoring The Cove.

The Birthday Bar

Guests visiting the Sky Tower Lobby between October 1 and October 12 will find Mohegan Sun's 30th Birthday Bar, a limited-run pop-up serving four specialty cocktails—The Uncas Legacy, 30 Years Rising, Spirit of the Wolf, and Thirty Moons. The pop-up format, increasingly popular at integrated resort properties, gives beverage operators a vehicle to drive incremental traffic and create shareable moments without committing to permanent menu additions. On October 10, reality TV personality Kyle Cooke of Summer House makes a special appearance at the bar starting at 9:00pm, layering a celebrity-activation layer onto the beverage experience.

Broader Celebration Context

The food and beverage programming sits inside a wider property-wide event calendar that includes concerts by Lainey Wilson, Flo Rida (free, in the Wolf Den), Alanis Morissette, Foo Fighters, John Mayer, and DJ Cassidy's Pass The Mic Live! from October 2–11. A red-carpet event and 30th Birthday Party hosted by DJ Cassidy in the Uncas Ballroom cap October 10, featuring a premium open bar alongside celebrity appearances. The Mohegan Sun FanDuel Sportsbook is running a 30-leg Pick 'Em contest for Momentum loyalty members from October 6–11, with a $30,000 grand prize, while the Poker Room hosts a $30,000 Guarantee No Limit Hold 'Em Tournament on October 10.

The hospitality angle extends to an overnight package as well. Mohegan Sun first opened on October 12, 1996, and now draws more than 7 million visitors annually. The property has added several dining concepts in recent years, including Beauty & Essex, The Shed Restaurant, The Farm Italy at Ballo Italian, and Sift Bake Shop & A.T.Y. Bar & Bonbons. Its Sun Wine & Food Fest in early 2026 drew one of its largest crowds on record, signaling continued strength in experiential food and beverage programming—the kind of hospitality-driven entertainment strategy that casino resorts have increasingly leaned on to deepen guest loyalty. For operators tracking how integrated resorts deploy beverage and dining activations around milestone events, the Signature Stroll and pop-up bar model here offers a replicable framework for turning institutional history into a guest-facing menu narrative.
