MGM Resorts International has signed on as title sponsor of Pro Padel League's inaugural Las Vegas tournament, a four-day event running November 18–21 at Dolby Live at Park MGM. The deal places professional padel squarely on the Las Vegas Strip during a high-traffic event week that draws more than 300,000 visitors, and lays the groundwork for a broader multi-year relationship between the two organizations.

The Event Format

The Las Vegas stop is the fourth and final regular-season tournament of PPL's 2026 schedule. All 10 franchise teams from the United States, Canada, and Mexico will compete for one of eight spots in the league's championship Finals, set for Miami on December 3–6. The tournament closes Saturday, November 21, with the final match airing nationally on CNBC — giving the league its broadest broadcast footprint to date.

Beyond Dolby Live, PPL and MGM Resorts will install a dedicated exhibition court along Bellagio Fountain Walk for the full four-day run. Bellagio Fountain Club guests will have access to player appearances and activations featuring athletes from all 10 PPL teams, including the hometown Las Vegas Smash, which is playing in its home market for the first time.

Why It Matters for Operators

For MGM Resorts, the partnership is a direct extension of the company's ongoing strategy to layer major sports properties across its hospitality portfolio — a playbook that has already reshaped how destination resorts compete for group and leisure business. Dan Bernbach, MGM Resorts' SVP of Entertainment & Sports, Events and Development, noted that Las Vegas "continues to raise the bar as a global sports and entertainment destination" and that padel's rapid growth represents a new audience engagement opportunity.

The hospitality angle is significant. Events of this scale drive measurable lift in food and beverage revenue, room nights, and on-property spend — metrics that make title sponsorships an increasingly attractive tool for integrated resort operators. Padel, often described as the world's fastest-growing racket sport, draws an affluent, internationally diverse player base that aligns closely with the premium guest profile MGM properties target. Operators tracking sports-driven hospitality trends will recognize the format: anchor a marquee sports event to a flagship venue, extend activations to public-facing property areas, and use national broadcast coverage to amplify the brand well beyond the arena walls.

PPL CEO Mike Dorfman framed the Las Vegas tournament as "a defining moment for our league," pointing to the Bellagio activation as evidence that the partnership is designed to reach beyond traditional sports fans. For restaurant and beverage operators within integrated resort environments, tournaments like this translate into predictable high-volume service windows and opportunities to introduce sport-aligned food and drink programming to new demographics.

With PPL events already distributed to more than 300 million households across 100-plus countries, Las Vegas serves as both a competitive climax to the regular season and a global showcase — the kind of visibility that increasingly attracts major hospitality brands seeking sports sponsorship ROI.
