The Offer
Little Caesars is bringing back Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix as a limited-time offering priced at $4.99 at participating locations nationwide, available September 7 through November 1. The single-serve meal bundles two slices of Detroit-Style Deep Dish pizza — available in Pepperoni or Cheese — with four pieces of Italian Cheese Bread and a side of Crazy Sauce for dipping. Operators can move the item via the Hot-N-Ready menu from 4–8 p.m. daily or through the Little Caesars app and website.
Value Play in a Competitive Market
The return of Slices-N-Stix lands as pizza chains across the quick-service restaurant segment continue to lean hard on value messaging to counter consumer price sensitivity. At $4.99, Little Caesars is positioning the combo as a lunch and gameday option that undercuts single-serve rivals on price while offering a multi-component format that elevates perceived value. The chain — the third-largest pizza brand in the world by its own count, with locations across all 50 U.S. states and 30 countries — has long built its identity around the Hot-N-Ready model, and Slices-N-Stix extends that ethos into a more variety-forward format.
"Detroit-Style Slices-N-Stix brings together the taste, variety and value guests expect from Little Caesars," said Greg Hamilton, Chief Marketing Officer at Little Caesars. "We're proud to bring it back this fall with Jared Goff and celebrate a product that is unmistakably Detroit."
Detroit Branding as a Marketing Engine
To drive awareness, Little Caesars enlisted Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff to headline the campaign, yoking the brand to two regional touchstones — NFL football and Detroit-style deep-dish pizza — during the fall football season, historically one of the strongest traffic windows for pizza chains. The creative strategy reflects a broader restaurant marketing trend of tapping local-identity pride to deepen brand affinity with both existing customers and new audiences discovering Detroit-style pizza through the chain's national footprint. Goff framed the partnership around authenticity: "Detroit-style pizza has earned fans across the country, and Little Caesars has helped bring it to more people." As a brand that also holds the title of Official Pizza Sponsor of the NFL, the football tie-in is a natural amplifier for the fall push.
