Lawrence Group, a St. Louis-based integrated planning and design firm, has appointed Elizabeth Baumgartner as Director of Procurement at its headquarters.

Baumgartner brings 20 years of experience in project management, interior design, and business operations to the role. She will oversee the firm's furniture procurement service line, manage client relationships, and lead operational teams while aligning procurement initiatives with firm-wide growth objectives.

Background

Most recently, Baumgartner served as Director of Operations at St. Louis-based Westhoff Machine Company, where she "overseeing budgeting and fiscal management for the company to ensure optimal allocation of resources and achieve a revenue increase of 15 percent." During seven years with the company, she "spearheaded process optimization and drove improvements across all departments, implemented an inventory management system, and created a seamless flow from purchasing to delivering consumables."

Her career also includes a seven-year tenure as an interior designer and founder of Little Black Door Designs in 2012, a home decorating retail shop. She previously worked as a Lead Project Manager for River City Studio in Kansas City for nearly six years, where she "managed medium and large-scale integrated marketing projects, which included website design and development, social media and strategic internet marketing."

Baumgartner holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication, Radio and TV Production from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
