KFC's new Hot Ranch Big Dip is now available at participating U.S. locations, paired with the returning Double Crispy Hot Wings and backed by a high-profile partnership with global streaming personality IShowSpeed. The KFC launch directly addresses a documented consumer pain point: ranch rationing.

According to Datassential, 75% of consumers like or love ranch, and 44% eat it weekly — yet portioned condiment cups remain a perennial frustration at quick-service restaurants. KFC's answer is a 4-ounce Hot Ranch Big Dip, roughly twice the size of a standard sauce portion, designed specifically for dunking, dipping, and drizzling.

Menu Configurations

Operators at participating locations are rolling out four ways to order around the launch. The Double Crispy Box Meal with Wings + Sandwich bundles three Double Crispy Hot Wings, a KFC Chicken Sandwich, wedges, a 4-ounce Hot Ranch Big Dip, and a medium drink. A second box meal swaps the sandwich for three Original Recipe Tenders. The Hot Ranch Loaded Wedges option layers six pickle slices and a drizzle of Hot Ranch over a large wedge order. Finally, the Hot Ranch Big Dip can be ordered standalone — four ounces of sauce for pairing with any item on the menu.

The sauce itself combines creamy, tangy ranch with garlic and herb notes and a chili pepper finish. Melissa Cash, Chief Marketing Officer of KFC U.S., said the brand tested multiple iterations before landing on the final formulation. "We knew the product had to live up to that excitement, so we tested version after version until we found the perfect balance of creamy, tangy ranch with just the right kick of heat," Cash said.

The IShowSpeed Play

The brand's choice of IShowSpeed as campaign partner reflects a broader QSR trend toward creator-driven marketing that targets younger, digitally native consumers — a segment increasingly important to restaurant traffic and loyalty strategies. Speed, who has documented his KFC visits across international streams for years, stars in a new 60-second commercial built around a comedic misunderstanding of "Hot Ranch," ultimately pivoting to the product reveal on set. KFC confirmed additional content and fan-facing activations with Speed are planned for later in fall 2026.

The campaign fits within a competitive sauce-and-flavor-forward QSR menu innovation cycle that has seen multiple chains use larger condiment portions and bold flavor profiles to drive combo meal attachment. For franchisees, the multi-SKU structure — two box meals, a loaded side, and a standalone dip — offers flexibility to upsell across dayparts and order sizes.

The Hot Ranch Big Dip is available for a limited time at participating KFC restaurants while supplies last. Prices and participation vary.
