Just Bare® and FX's "The Bear" Collaborate on Character-Driven NYC Dining Event
Just Bare® is partnering with FX's "The Bear" for a one-night pop-up dining experience on June 18 in New York City, capitalizing on the buzz surrounding the show's fifth and final season premiere on June 25.
The free event at Meatpacking Collective (412 W 14th St) will feature five dishes curated by Courtney Storer, the show's Chef and Culinary Producer. Each menu item draws inspiration from the series' central characters and uses Just Bare® chicken as the key ingredient.
The Menu
Dishes include a Chicken Piccata based on protagonist Carmy's approach to reinventing classic dishes, and a Spring Pea Crème Fraiche dedicated to character Tina's determined spirit. Additional offerings represent Syd, Richie, and Marcus. Guests will dine family-style around an open-format kitchen with Storer present to discuss the character story and technique behind each dish.
"Creating the menu for this event was a chance to explore one of my favorite things about food: its ability to tell a story," Storer said. "Each dish was inspired by a different character, relationship or moment from 'The Bear,' and we used Just Bare® chicken to bring those personalities to life. Having a versatile, high-quality ingredient gave us the flexibility to be creative while staying true to the heart of the menu. I'm excited for fans to cook these recipes, gather around the table and connect with the characters and stories behind them."
Event Details
The experience runs from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM ET on June 18. Reservations for guests 21+ are available on a first-come, first-served basis via Eventbrite and are limited.
National Expansion
For consumers outside New York, Just Bare® is launching character-inspired meal kits available for purchase starting June 25 at $12.99 via justbarechicken.com/thechefseditkit. The kits feature Tina's character-inspired dish from the event and include a custom cutting board, kitchen towel, and tote bag as gifts with purchase.
Chelsea Parker, Senior Director of Brand Marketing at Just Bare®, said: "'The Bear' has redefined how people think about food, kitchens and the emotion beyond what's on the plate. At Just Bare®, that same care and commitment to quality food is at the center of everything we do, so the connection was natural for us. This partnership is our way of bringing those shared values to life through food in a way people can experience and easily recreate at home."
Just Bare® markets fresh and frozen chicken made from all-natural birds raised without antibiotics, additives, or preservatives. The brand competes in the premium chicken segment alongside players like Perdue and Bell & Evans.
Why It Matters
For restaurant operators and packaged-goods brands, the collaboration underscores the continued commercial value of premium TV partnerships tied to food-centric entertainment. The dual approach—a limited experiential event and scalable at-home meal kits—allows Just Bare® to capture both earned media buzz and retail velocity ahead of the final season premiere.
