The New Products
Jordan's Skinny Mixes is broadening its functional beverage portfolio with Protein Refresher STIX and Protein Creamer STIX — four single-serve formats designed to slot protein into the drinks consumers already reach for throughout the day. The launch adds to the brand's growing STIX lineup, which already includes Refresher STIX and Protein Coffee STIX introduced in April.
The Protein Refresher STIX targets the hydration occasion. Mixed with 12–16 ounces of water, each stick delivers 10 grams of whey protein, 470 milligrams of electrolytes, zero sugar, and 60 calories. Two flavors are available: Cherry Limeade, which is caffeine-free, and Peach Green Tea, which contains 50 milligrams of caffeine from green tea. Both are naturally sweetened, colored, and flavored with real fruit — positioning them squarely in the better-for-you beverage segment gaining significant shelf space at retail and within foodservice grab-and-go programs.
The Protein Creamer STIX takes the protein occasion into coffee. Each stick provides 10 grams of whey protein, one gram of sugar, and 60 calories when added to 8–12 ounces of hot or iced coffee, then frothed or shaken to combine. Flavors — Sweet Cream and Cookie Butter — lean into the coffeehouse-inspired taste profiles that have proven successful across ready-to-drink and canned coffee categories. Both are naturally sweetened.
Operator and Retail Relevance
The pricing structure — $19.99 for a six-count pack, or roughly $3.33 per stick — places these products in premium single-serve territory, comparable to specialty coffee and functional beverage price points already familiar to hospitality operators and convenience retail buyers. For foodservice and hospitality professionals tracking the intersection of protein enrichment and beverage customization, the format is notable: single-serve sticks require no refrigeration, minimal labor, and no blending equipment, making them viable for hotel amenity programs, fitness-adjacent foodservice operations, or office coffee service channels.
Dana Paris, Chief Commercial Officer of Jordan's Skinny Mixes, framed the launch around routine compatibility. "Protein Refresher and Protein Creamer STIX bring protein into drinks people already reach for, with flavors that make those moments something to look forward to," she said.
Market Context
The launch reflects broader momentum in the functional beverage space, where protein enrichment has expanded well beyond traditional sports nutrition into everyday coffee and hydration formats. Brands across the beverage industry are racing to capture consumers who want nutritional benefits without sacrificing taste or convenience — a trend that is reshaping purchasing decisions at grocery, mass retail, and foodservice alike. Jordan's Skinny Mixes, which built its identity on low- and no-sugar drink enhancers distributed through mass, grocery, and Amazon channels, is leaning into the protein wave while maintaining the flavor-forward positioning that defines its core range.
For operators and buyers tracking better-for-you beverage innovation in foodservice, the STIX format represents a format increasingly worth watching — portable, shelf-stable, and engineered for the moments between meals where consumers are most likely to make an impulse nutrition decision.
