Hyatt will enter the Turks & Caicos market in the first quarter of 2027 with Andaz Turks & Caicos at Grace Bay, marking both the company's debut in the islands and the first Caribbean resort under the Andaz brand. The 132-key property sits directly on Grace Bay beach and will include 59 guestrooms ranging from studios to four-bedroom suites, with select units featuring private plunge pools and 10 penthouses offering rooftop pools. An additional 73 oceanfront branded residences—studios through four-bedroom condos—will round out the accommodation mix, alongside The Penthouse Collection featuring one-to-five-bedroom two-story units with roof terraces, plunge pools, and summer kitchens.
Dining and Wellness The resort will operate three restaurants: Tamarà, described as blending global bistro classics with Caribbean influence; Baie, a poolside venue serving casual fare and tropical cocktails; and Palmette, a cafe and market offering single-origin coffee and locally curated goods. Wellness amenities include Runa Spa & Wellness, a 7,000-square-foot facility with five treatment rooms, a Finnish sauna, ice baths, relaxation lounge, nail salon, and in-room massage services. Three swimming pools, including an adults-only option, will be available to guests.
Recreation and Events The property will feature 34,000 square feet of event space, a kids club, tennis and pickleball courts, and programming including daily wellness classes, live music, supper clubs, sunset cruises, and charter experiences. The location provides direct access to The Bight Reef for snorkeling and proximity to island attractions including the Junkanoo Museum and Island Fish Fry.
Why It Matters
The resort represents significant expansion for Hyatt into the Caribbean luxury segment and underscores the hospitality industry's continued investment in high-end, amenity-rich island destinations. The dual focus on hotel keys and branded residences reflects a growing trend among luxury operators seeking diversified revenue streams and longer-term occupancy commitments.
