New Menu Celebrates Regional Character Grand Hotel Fasano has unveiled The Seven Wonders of Lake Garda, a new cocktail collection designed to showcase the flavors and landscapes of Italy's largest lake ahead of peak summer season. Award-winning Bar Manager Rama Redzepi crafted the seven original creations, each representing a different iconic destination around the lake. The menu is rooted in local sourcing. Garda olive oil, Limone citrus fruits, Riva saffron, Malcesine truffles, and regional wines feature throughout the collection, which will be served at Rama's Lounge Bar and La Terrazza.
The Seven Cocktails Each drink captures the character of a specific Lake Garda location: Tramonto Tassoni (Salò): Bitter Tassoni | red apple | Garda lemon and orange peel | lemon juice | orange oleum saccharum | pink grapefruit soda. A bright and refreshing tribute to Salò, blending citrus, orchard fruit and delicate bitterness to evoke the rosy sunsets that color the lake's western shore. Luce di Limone (Limone sul Garda): Grumial lemon gin | milk | passionfruit white tea | kumquat oleum saccharum | lemon. Inspired by the lemon groves of Limone, this elegant cocktail combines citrus, white tea and delicate botanical notes to capture the area's golden Mediterranean light. Oro di Riva (Riva del Garda): Saffron gin | Garda extra virgin olive oil | orange | rosemary | lemon | orange oleum saccharum | sparkling or soda water. Featuring saffron, Garda olive oil and aromatic herbs, this sophisticated serve reflects the meeting of mountain winds and lakeside tranquility in Riva. Terra di Malcesine (Malcesine): RAMAS 12 vermouth blend | Campari | truffle vinegar | Ferrari Maximum Blanc de Blancs. A rich and savory creation celebrating Malcesine's renowned truffles, balancing earthy depth with sparkling elegance. Il Rosso di Bardolino (Bardolino): Bardolino DOC red wine | vermouth | peach | lemon | orange | juniper | star anise | cinnamon cloves. A contemporary summer reinterpretation of mulled wine, showcasing Bardolino's signature red wine with vibrant fruit and spice notes in a lighter summer style. La Perla del Garda (Sirmione): Fior di latte gelato | Garda basil | lemon | capers | Garda extra virgin olive oil | Garda traditional-method sparkling wine. Inspired by Sirmione's timeless beauty, this creamy, sparkling sorbet cocktail reimagines the classic sgroppino with local basil, olive oil and citrus. Il Rosa di Moniga (Moniga del Garda): Rosé wine | rum | orange liqueur | red fruit infusion | pineapple | lemon. A tribute to the birthplace of Chiaretto rosé, expressing the finesse, freshness and elegance of Garda's celebrated pink wines through layers of fruit and citrus.

Why It Matters
For hospitality operators in resort and luxury markets, the menu demonstrates how regional sourcing and local storytelling can differentiate a bar program and elevate the aperitivo experience. Redzepi's approach—tying each cocktail to a specific destination through both ingredients and flavor profile—offers a replicable model for properties seeking to deepen guest engagement with place-based narratives.
