Michelin-Honored Chef Headlines Turks & Caicos Culinary Week Grace Bay Resorts has announced the full lineup for the 16th annual Caribbean Food & Wine Festival, running November 3-8 across Providenciales. The week-long event brings chefs, winemakers, and industry figures to the island for tastings, seated dinners, and beach celebrations. Chef India Doris, winner of the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Northeast Cities Young Chef Award and chef-co-owner of New York's Markette, will lead the headline Starlight Dinner at Rock House on November 5. Doris, who grew up in a Caribbean household in London, blends European classical technique with Caribbean spice-driven flavors. "Every year, the Caribbean Food & Wine Festival gives us the opportunity to welcome incredible culinary talent to our shores while showcasing what's new across the Grace Bay Resorts portfolio," said Nikheel Advani, COO and Principal of Grace Bay Resorts and Co-Chairman of the Caribbean Food & Wine Festival committee. "At its heart, the festival is a celebration of the rich culture and community of Turks & Caicos, creating opportunities for education, meaningful connection and continued growth within our local culinary community."
Multi-Day Schedule Spans Dinners, Tastings, and Family Events The festival opens November 3 with the Taste of Turks kickoff at Krave, followed by intimate winemaker pairings and a culinary symposium exploring industry trends. November 5 features two four-course dinners: one at Casa Nonna and Doris's Starlight Dinner at Rock House Jetty ($249 per person). November 6 includes a Women of Wine Lunch at The Shore Club and a progressive Gourmet Safari spanning four island restaurants via boat ($249 per person or $450 per couple). The family-friendly Turks Head Jerk Festival runs November 7 at Turks Head Brewery ($20 per person), while November 8 closes with a Veuve Clicquot Brunch at LUA, South Bank ($199 per person). Grace Bay Club Executive Chef Frank Castleton will host the Salt, Sand & Fire beachside chef's table on November 7, described as "the Caribbean's longest chef's table" with a gourmet BBQ on Grace Bay Beach ($249 per person).
New Resort Amenities on Display Festival guests will preview several property debuts, including the redesigned Hotel Building at Grace Bay Club by AD100 interior designer Young Huh, the Off Shore beachside pop-up bar and restaurant, and The Princess Grace, a 65-foot custom catamaran available through Caicos Luxury Charters. South Bank will later debut Arc, a collection of 17 new sky villas.
Why It Matters
The festival underscores the Caribbean's positioning as a destination for culinary tourism and luxury resort experiences. For operators, the event demonstrates how multi-day festivals tied to property upgrades and dining expansion drive high-ticket experiences and brand visibility in competitive island markets. The inclusion of industry education (the culinary symposium) and locally focused events (Jerk Festival) signals an effort to balance visitor spending with community engagement.
