Farm-to-Table Events Highlight Seasonal Produce Gjelina Las Vegas has announced the launch of its In Season chef series, a collection of chef-driven events taking place throughout fall and winter that celebrate ingredients sourced from the restaurant's network of trusted farms and purveyors across Southern California. The series is part of Culinary Crossroads, The Venetian Resort Las Vegas's food and beverage showcase. Each multi-course dinner is priced at $125 per person and includes wine or spirits pairings. No two events will be exactly alike, with menus reflecting the changing bounty of the season and showcasing the culinary team's creativity.
Leadership and Philosophy The dinners will be led by Gjelina Group founder Fran Camaj, Gjelina Group farm liaison Bethany Harris, Gjelina Group executive chef Juan Hernandez, and Gjelina Las Vegas executive chef Leonardo Barrera. "Seasonality has always been at the heart of Gjelina," said Fran Camaj, founder of Gjelina Group. "Our debut In Season chef series dinners are an opportunity to share not only the food itself, but also the stories and sourcing relationships behind it. We want guests to experience the connection between the farms, the kitchen, and the table." Gjelina Las Vegas operates with the philosophy of the original Venice location, bringing peak-season produce several times each week and building menus around what is freshest and most abundant at any given moment.
Three Debut Events Wednesday, Sept. 30 — Welcome to Fall with Bautista Family Organic Dates The season's opening dinner features Bautista Family Organic Dates, including the rare Barhi variety, complemented by Laura Chenel goat cheese from Sonoma, and curated cocktails from Altamura Vodka. Event begins at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23 — 'Tis the Season - Holiday Preview A festive dinner showcasing Gjelina's specialty holiday menus and fall and winter ingredients alongside seasonal libations. Endless spirits and wine pairing packages are available for an additional cost. Event runs 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Why It Matters
For Las Vegas operators, Gjelina's commitment to frequent produce turnover and seasonal menu shifts demonstrates a viable model for high-volume hospitality venues seeking to differentiate through ingredient sourcing and chef-driven storytelling—particularly as consumers increasingly value transparency around food provenance.
