Enovation Brands has rolled out a full brand restyling for Gemma di Luna, its Italian sparkling wine label, pairing a redesigned logo and updated packaging with a new 187ml three-pack format for Prosecco DOC — a combination aimed squarely at retail shelf impact and on-premise gifting occasions.

The refreshed brand mark shifts emphasis to the "Gemma" name, reflecting how consumers already refer to the wine colloquially, and ties into the brand's ongoing #GemmaMoment social campaign. The packaging update is also supported by a retail display initiative designed to increase in-store visibility and capture incremental purchase intent at the shelf.

The Format Play

The 187ml three-pack carries a $19.99 SRP and is positioned to serve three distinct demand occasions: single-serve consumption, gifting, and on-the-go use. For retail buyers, the multi-pack structure is explicitly pitched as a basket-value driver — a meaningful consideration as wine departments look for higher average-ring SKUs amid flat or declining category traffic. The standard 750ml bottle remains priced at $16.99.

The move comes at a strategically well-timed moment for Prosecco specifically. The category grew 178% in value in the U.S. between 2018 and 2024, and U.S. Prosecco volume rose 3% in 2025 even as total beverage alcohol consumption fell — a resilience that sets it apart from broader wine and spirits trends that operators and retailers have been navigating.

Operator Implications

"Today's wine drinkers are looking for approachable styles, distinctive packaging, convenient formats, and wines that fit seamlessly into their lifestyles," said Lisa Schuster, National Marketing Director for Enovation Brands. "Our restyled brand identity and new three-pack reflect those preferences while preserving the quality and character that define Gemma di Luna."

For on-premise operators, the single-serve 187ml format is a practical fit for banquet service, catering packages, and outdoor or poolside programming — contexts where a sealed, portion-controlled sparkling wine removes friction for both staff and guests. The format also aligns with growing consumer interest in premium single-serve beverage options that deliver perceived value without requiring a full bottle commitment.

Enovation Brands is the exclusive U.S. importer of Gemma di Luna and operates as part of Italian Wine Brands, S.p.A. (IWB), Italy's largest private wine group and the world's leading Prosecco producer by volume. IWB delivered 160 million bottles across more than 70 brands to 95 countries in 2025. That supply-chain depth gives Enovation the scale to support national retail and restaurant beverage program placements simultaneously.

Gemma di Luna Prosecco DOC is made from 100% Glera grapes and sits at 10.5% ABV, with tasting notes of white flowers, lemon peel, peach, lemon curd, and honey butter. The wine is available nationwide in both the refreshed 750ml and the new 187ml three-pack.
