Experiential Tequila Programming Across Resort Property Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is centering tequila as a cultural pillar rather than a novelty offering for National Tequila Day on July 24. Situated on 52 beachfront acres in Mexico's private Punta Mita community, the resort has structured programming across multiple venues and experiences. Guests can participate in hands-on blending sessions at the on-site Cultural Center, where a guided tasting covers tequila's history and production across four expressions—blanco to añejo—before participants bottle their own blend to take home.
Bar and Lounge Experiences MEZ Bar, the resort's agave-focused lounge, will pour a vertical flight of 7 Leguas, ranging from Blanco to the aged D'Antaño expression. The bar also features cocktails including the Jalísco, made with Volcán de Mi Tierra Cristalino tequila, pomegranate, and hibiscus. Poolside, Tamai and Nuna serve three margarita variations: the Tamai (Maestro Tequilero Añejo, Grand Marnier, lemon, lime, salt), the Nuna (Siete Leguas Blanco, Grand Marnier, citrus salt), and the El Jefe (añejo tequila, Xanath vanilla liqueur, pineapple, and sambal for heat). Aramara, the resort's newly renovated Asian-inspired oceanfront restaurant, serves cocktails on an open-air terrace with two tequila-forward signatures: the Remedio Del Patrón (silver tequila, guava, basil, ginger, rosé Champagne) and the Five Elements (reposado tequila, sake, clarified beetroot and avocado, Cointreau). Cora Lounge, positioned above the Nuna Pool with ocean views and daily acoustic guitar, offers the Cora Sunset, featuring Don Fulano Reposado paired with Xanat liqueur and passion fruit.
Why It Matters
As tequila consumption continues to rise in the U.S. hospitality sector, resorts are differentiating through curated programming and education-forward experiences. Four Seasons' multi-venue approach demonstrates how premium properties can drive beverage revenue while building guest engagement around a single category.
