All-Day Cafe Marks Madhappy's First Standalone Location Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has opened Pantry Maui, a new all-day café concept developed in collaboration with the Los Angeles-based brand Madhappy. The opening marks Pantry's first standalone destination and its debut in Hawaii, joining existing locations in West Hollywood, New York, Malibu, and Tokyo. The café operates daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and is open to both resort guests and local visitors. The menu was crafted by Executive Chef Ryan Schelling and Executive Sous Chef AJ Thalakkat alongside the Pantry team, with island-specific offerings unavailable elsewhere.
Menu Highlights Island Flavors Exclusive beverage offerings include the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha Latte and Banana Coconut Latte, alongside Pantry's signature matcha and latte drinks. Food highlights include the Poi Coconut Crown—a flaky pastry layered with poi and coconut—and The South Side Acai Bowl, featuring li-hing mui, pineapple, lychee, strawberry, haupia, toasted coconut, mac nut crumble, lilikoi sauce, and honey. The grab-and-go menu encompasses house-made pastries, sandwiches, salads, wraps, smoothies, açaí bowls, gelato, and sundaes made with island ingredients. Cold-pressed juices and tonics come from Maui Juice Co., while chocolate is sourced from Lonohana Estate Chocolate, which grows cacao in Hawaii. Coffee is a signature blend from Los Angeles roastery Loquat created exclusively for Pantry; ceremonial-grade matcha comes from Nekohama, a Japanese brand emphasizing traditional craftsmanship.
Retail and Lifestyle Offerings The venue includes Maui-exclusive apparel, accessories, drinkware, specialty packaged goods, and products created only for the resort, extending the Pantry experience beyond the café. "Exceptional culinary offerings have always been central to the Four Seasons Resort Maui experience, and Pantry represents our continued commitment to creating thoughtful, high-quality offerings for our guests," says Konrad Gstrein, Regional Vice President and General Manager of Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. "Pantry enhances our existing collection of dining experiences with distinctive beverages, exclusive menu offerings, and an elevated all-day grab-and-go concept that seamlessly fits into a guest's stay." Peiman Raf, Co-Founder and CEO at Madhappy, added: "Pantry has always been intentional about the experiences we create and the communities we become part of. We're proud to bring Pantry to Four Seasons Resort Maui, where a shared commitment to quality, thoughtful hospitality, and exceptional guest experiences has shaped every aspect of the concept."
Broader Resort Transformation The café opening is part of Four Seasons Resort Maui's property-wide renovation, which includes refreshed guest rooms and suites (debuting Q4 2026), a reimagined Club Floor (opened May 2026), and the recently opened Kai Holo Spa (July 2026). The resort also added new pool cabanas, cultural spaces, and expanded wellness offerings.
Why It Matters
For hospitality operators, Pantry Maui demonstrates how luxury resorts can differentiate through curated, locally-inspired food and beverage concepts that extend beyond traditional dining into lifestyle retail. The partnership between Madhappy and Four Seasons signals growing crossover between fashion and hospitality brands seeking to capture guest spending across multiple touchpoints during stays.
