Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea has opened Kai Holo Spa, a redesigned wellness destination anchored by an aquathermal circuit, signature Pacific Journeys treatment menu, and an expanded longevity center — the centerpiece of a broader resort transformation guided by design firm Meyer Davis.
Translating to "flowing tide" in Hawaiian, the spa is built around the concept of continuous movement through restorative experiences. A sculptural cleft black granite wall — a nod to Maui's volcanic geology — anchors the aquathermal center, which features three hydrotherapy pools (a vitality pool, a therapeutic hot pool, and a cold plunge), plus steam, sensory shower, and both traditional and infrared saunas. Circadian-calibrated lighting runs throughout the aquathermal zone, relaxation lounge, and treatment rooms, tuned to shift guest energy levels and deepen each phase of the journey.
Pacific Journeys Menu
The signature Pacific Journeys treatment menu puts locally sourced Hawaiian ingredients at the center of the ritual experience — a design choice with direct implications for hospitality wellness programming across the luxury segment. Standout offerings include the Kai Holo Signature Oceanside Ritual, which moves from a warm black sea-salt foot soak through a resort-harvested honey and sugar polish to a kukui oil massage and scalp ritual; the Spirulina & Astaxanthin Ocean Detox Body Ritual, which incorporates Hawaiʻi-grown spirulina and a lomi lomi massage with astaxanthin-infused oil; and the Queen's Garden Fern Ritual, which draws on native fern oil sourced from Kauai and a warm lava mask wrapped in ti leaves. The Piko Mālama Wahine, a nurturing treatment using herbal poultice of honey, lemon balm, chamomile, and lavender, rounds out the core Pacific Journeys lineup.

Longevity Center & Fitness
Building on a partnership with Next|Health that dates to 2021, the resort has added a newly redesigned longevity center adjacent to the spa offering biomarker testing, IV therapy, and NAD+ treatments, with a hyperbaric chamber set to arrive in late summer 2026. A reimagined fitness center equipped with Technogym equipment, body composition analysis, and a new infrared Movement Studio — hosting yoga, Pilates reformer, and outdoor TRX classes — completes the wellness ecosystem. The longevity center expansion reflects a growing pattern in luxury hotel food and beverage and wellness investment, where performance-health services once found only in clinical settings are being integrated directly into resort programming to attract health-conscious, high-spending guests.
The facial menu adds bio-hacking technology and skincare science alongside comprehensive bodywork. Signature wellness retreat programming, curated by Makozak, is set to debut later in 2026. The broader resort transformation under Meyer Davis extends across guest rooms, suites, and the Club Floor, positioning the 383-room, Forbes Five-Star property for a new phase in its Wailea Coast tenure.
