Wellness travel operator Fit Bodies, Inc. has formalized a collaboration with Hyatt's Inclusive Collection, embedding fitness programming, sports instruction, mindfulness experiences, and destination-inspired wellness activities across seven of the hotel group's resort brands. The deal covers properties operating under Dreams Resorts & Spas, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Breathless Resorts & Spas, Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, Impression by Secrets, Sunscape Resorts & Spas, and Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts — spanning Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
What the Deal Delivers
For resort operators, the partnership means turnkey wellness programming supported by credentialed fitness professionals sourced through Fit Bodies' proprietary Teaching Vacation model. Under that model, certified instructors teach classes and lead guest engagement activities at partner resorts in exchange for accommodations — a structure that keeps programming costs manageable while giving properties access to a rotating roster of over 50,000 vetted wellness professionals. Mourad Essafi, General Manager of Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets, called out the fit directly: "Fit Bodies enhances this vision by bringing world-class wellness programming that integrates seamlessly into the elevated experience we offer." Luis Tinedo, Entertainment Director at Breathless Riviera Cancún, noted the company's track record across multiple properties, emphasizing its ability to lift guest engagement and resort energy without disrupting existing operations.
A Three-Decade Platform Scales Up
Founded in 1992 by Suzelle Snowden, Fit Bodies began as a single concept: teach fitness classes at luxury resorts in exchange for accommodations. Over 30-plus years, that idea has grown into a platform reporting more than 180 resort partners, 100,000 completed trips, and a 50,000-member professional community. Snowden, who has led the company without outside funding since its founding, drove the Hyatt expansion herself over the past 24 months. "Collaborating with Hyatt allows us to bring that philosophy to life on a global scale — transforming vacations into meaningful wellness experiences for today's traveler," she said.
The Hyatt deal arrives as wellness tourism continues to command serious attention across the hospitality industry. Fit Bodies is also pursuing active expansion into Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and South Africa, positioning its platform squarely within the broader push by luxury resort operators to differentiate on guest experience rather than amenities alone. For hoteliers evaluating their own wellness strategies, the Teaching Vacation model offers a staffing and programming solution that scales without adding permanent headcount — a meaningful consideration as labor costs remain a top operational pressure across food, beverage, and hospitality sectors. The Hyatt Inclusive Collection partnership is the highest-profile validation yet that the model can operate at enterprise scale.
