Domino's Pizza is slashing prices across its entire pizza menu by 50% from July 27 through August 2, applying the discount to every menu-priced pie regardless of size, crust, or toppings — one of the chain's widest promotional offers in recent memory.
The deal is redeemable through every available ordering channel: dominos.com, the Domino's mobile app, by phone, or in person at the counter. Both delivery and carryout orders qualify, giving operators a vehicle to drive traffic across both service modes simultaneously during a traditionally competitive summer sales period.
What the Offer Covers
The half-price promotion extends to all six of Domino's crust varieties and its full lineup of Specialty Pizzas. Customers can build custom orders with any combination of toppings at the discounted rate, lowering the barrier to experimentation — a dynamic that can lift average ticket attachment on sides and beverages even as pizza revenue per unit dips. Frank Garrido, Domino's executive vice president and chief restaurant officer, framed the promotion as a traffic-building moment: "It's a great opportunity to try something new or enjoy your favorite pizza for less."
To support ordering decisions during the window, Domino's culinary team highlighted three suggested summer combinations: a Crunchy Thin Crust with pepperoni, pineapple, and jalapeño paired with sweet mango habanero dipping sauce; a Parmesan Stuffed Crust loaded with honey BBQ sauce, premium chicken, smoked bacon, and cheddar blend; and a Hand Tossed Crust topped with beef, bacon, fresh mushroom, onion, diced tomato, and shredded provolone.
Operator and Market Context
The promotion lands as the QSR pizza segment faces sustained pressure from value-driven competitors and a consumer base increasingly sensitive to menu pricing. Domino's reported global retail sales of over $20.6 billion in the trailing four quarters ended June 14, 2026, and generated more than 85% of U.S. retail sales digitally in 2025 — a foundation that makes a short-window digital promotion relatively efficient to execute at scale. With 99% of its more than 22,500 global locations operated by independent franchisees, however, any steep discount places direct margin pressure on franchise partners, a tension that operators in the QSR and fast-casual space are watching closely as chains compete aggressively on price.
Broad sitewide discounts have become a recurring lever for large pizza chains looking to reactivate lapsed customers and defend market share against both third-party delivery aggregators and emerging restaurant beverage and bundle strategies. For franchisees, the upside lies in volume: a significant spike in order counts during the promotional window can offset per-unit revenue compression, particularly if add-on attachment rates hold. Whether this week-long push moves the needle on Domino's same-store sales trajectory will be a metric franchise owners and industry analysts monitor closely when the brand next reports.
