Culinary & Cannabis, the nurse-founded cannabis experience company with more than 120 events across nine U.S. cities, is relaunching as Savor & Solace — a wellness hospitality brand that frames cannabis as one ingredient in a broader conversation about culinary discovery, education, and restorative self-care.
The new identity debuts in Los Angeles with three events at The Resort at Playa Vista: Savor & Solace Table on November 5, followed by The Canna Spa by Savor & Solace and Savor & Solace Sessions on November 7. All experiences are open to guests 21 and over.
The Rebrand Rationale
Founder and registered nurse Tamara Anderson built the original company to occupy a deliberate middle ground — between stigma-driven misinformation and consumption-first event culture. Over nearly a decade, her events have welcomed more than 2,900 guests, drawing not only cannabis-curious consumers but also nursing colleagues and physicians looking for credible, structured plant education. The rebrand formalizes what the brand had already become in practice.
"Cannabis has always been part of what we do, but cannabis was never the entire story," Anderson said. "The real purpose has always been education, experience and giving people a comfortable space to explore something they may have questions about. Savor & Solace reflects the company we have been growing into for years."
The name itself encodes the positioning: Savor signals food, gathering, and sensory engagement; Solace signals comfort, restoration, and the brand's promise that guests should leave feeling better than when they arrived. A refreshed visual identity — botanical forms, a rising sun motif, and a palette of cream, blush rose, soft peach, muted sage, and blue-gray — reinforces the pivot toward wellness hospitality aesthetics over cannabis-category branding. The brand promise distills to three words: Ritual. Nourish. Restore.
What the Events Deliver
The November programming illustrates how the parent brand now operates as a platform with distinct sub-experiences. Savor & Solace Table is the chef-led culinary series, weaving plant education into an evening of dining and tastings. The Canna Spa pairs massage, facials, and CBD-centered wellness services with food, beverages, and music. Savor & Solace Sessions is the educational arm — expert-led workshops designed to make cannabis more approachable for adult audiences, running November 7 from 4 to 5 p.m.
This modular structure matters for hospitality operators watching how cannabis-adjacent wellness is scaling. Rather than one monolithic event format, Savor & Solace gives different guest segments — diners, spa-goers, and education-seekers — a distinct entry point. That approach mirrors how full-service restaurants and wellness-oriented hospitality concepts are increasingly programming around curated experience verticals rather than single-format offerings.
Vision Beyond the Launch
Anderson, who stepped back from event production following a cancer diagnosis and continuing health challenges, described the rebrand as a sustainable model built around her own capacity to operate. The Los Angeles launch is framed as the first step in a larger expansion plan that includes Savor & Solace Suites — media, talent, and partner hospitality activations — and a long-term ambition for Savor & Solace House, a permanent wellness hospitality destination.
The company is actively building brand partnerships across wellness, hospitality, culinary, beauty, and cannabis, emphasizing product discovery and education integrations over conventional logo placement. That partnership model aligns with how beverage and food brands are approaching experiential marketing as a higher-return alternative to traditional sponsorship.
"The cannabis industry does not need more parties," Anderson said. "It needs more opportunities for education, authentic connection and elevated hospitality." The rebrand positions Savor & Solace to compete in an emerging lane where cannabis, culinary craft, and wellness hospitality converge — a space that Food & Beverage Magazine has tracked as one of the more commercially durable intersections in the current market.
