Wellness Chain Targets Morning Occasion CRISP & GREEN is expanding its morning service windows as of July 22 across its U.S. locations, positioning itself to capture earlier daypart sales from customers seeking convenient, healthier breakfast options. The Minneapolis-based fast-casual chain, which operates 52 locations with dozens more under development, will extend access to its smoothies, açaí bowls, and handcrafted iced beverages during peak morning hours.

Promotional Hook To drive traffic during the expansion rollout, CRISP & GREEN is running a limited-time promotion through July 31. Customers who visit participating locations before 11 a.m. and present a current gym or fitness studio membership card or app profile will receive any signature smoothie for $5. "Morning is when so many wellness routines begin, whether that's a workout, heading to the office, getting kids to school or simply taking time to fuel yourself before the day starts," said Steele Smiley, Founder and Executive Chairman of CRISP & GREEN. "Expanding our morning hours allows us to better serve those routines while continuing to reinforce what CRISP & GREEN has always stood for: bringing together food, movement and community."

Why It Matters

For fast-casual operators, daypart expansion remains a critical lever for unit economics. CRISP & GREEN's move reflects broader industry recognition that morning traffic—still underpenetrated by health-focused chains—represents untapped revenue potential. The fitness-membership tie-in leverages the brand's existing wellness positioning while targeting a high-propensity customer segment.
