European small-batch RTD brand Conte Camillo is making its full U.S. debut this fall, rolling out all five cocktails in its portfolio under the management of parent company Mack Brands. The launch expands on the brand's earlier U.S. introduction of its signature Negroni, now joined by Lemon Drop, Cosmo, Old Fashioned, and Espresso Martini — each produced at select European distilleries and bottled at bar strength between 20% and 35% ABV.
The Portfolio Breakdown
The five expressions are designed to cover a wide range of drinking occasions, a deliberate strategy as on-premise operators and off-premise retailers alike seek RTD options that can credibly compete with fresh-built cocktails. The Lemon Drop leads with Italian vodka, fresh lemon, and elderflower; the Cosmo layers cranberry, lime, and rosemary; the Negroni blends Italian bitters, small-batch gin, and vermouth; the Old Fashioned pairs Kentucky Bourbon and rye with mountain bitters and cherry Grappa; and the Espresso Martini combines real cold brew, Italian vodka, and coffee liqueur. Each recipe is fully mixed and balanced before bottling, preserving what the brand describes as the taste and texture of a bartender-built drink.
Retail pricing is set at $5.99 SRP for 100ml bottles and $14.99 SRP for 375ml bottles — positioning Conte Camillo as an accessible premium option in a RTD beverage segment that has seen sustained growth driven by consumer demand for quality without the bar tab.
Campaign and Market Strategy
"The U.S. is an incredibly exciting market for us because consumers are increasingly looking for cocktails that deliver both quality and ease, without having to compromise one for the other," said Nicolas Mack, Founder & CEO of Mack Brands. The brand is backing the expanded rollout with a new campaign called "Strength of Character," which launched in September with New York City as its anchor market. The campaign features a series of six cinematic, documentary-style short films profiling real New Yorkers and the crafts they have refined over a lifetime — each connected thematically to a cocktail in the portfolio. The film series will roll out through December across social and digital channels.
The campaign approach reflects a broader trend in premium RTD marketing: positioning the format not as a shortcut but as a legitimate expression of craft. For restaurant and bar operators scouting the RTD landscape for private events, mini-bar programs, or to-go cocktail offerings, the bar-strength formulation and format flexibility — from single-serve 100ml to shareable 375ml — are practical differentiators worth tracking. Mack Brands, which also markets Finvara Irish Whiskey and Tequila Rosaluz as part of the Mack & Schühle group, is using the Conte Camillo U.S. expansion to establish a foothold in the premium cocktail-to-go segment before the holiday season accelerates gifting and entertaining occasions.
