Anton Hospitality Holdings is moving its two downtown flagships — The Chef's Table and The Tasting Room — into Winter Garden, Florida's historic Bond Building at 2 and 12 West Plant Street, with both concepts expected to open in their new homes in mid-2027. The restaurants have anchored downtown Winter Garden for 18 years and will continue operating at their current location without interruption until the transition.

The New Footprint

The Tasting Room will take the corner position at 2 West Plant Street, where Plant and Main Streets intersect, while The Chef's Table will occupy 12 West Plant Street next door. The expansion into the Bond Building — downtown Winter Garden's oldest brick structure — brings significantly more kitchen capacity, second-floor private dining and dedicated event spaces, and expanded covered outdoor dining, addressing operational constraints that are common pain points for high-volume independent restaurants operating in legacy retail footprints.

What the Move Signals

For restaurant operators tracking independent concept growth, this relocation illustrates a broader pattern: established full-service independents leveraging historic adaptive-reuse properties to scale hospitality programming, particularly private dining and events, without sacrificing neighborhood identity. Second-floor event venues and purpose-built kitchen infrastructure are increasingly central to how fine-casual and upscale independents diversify revenue beyond covers — a strategy well-documented in beverage and dining industry analysis as operators seek insulation from fluctuating foot traffic.

The Bond Building's heritage character also positions both concepts to maintain the sense of place that has defined their 18-year run, while the expanded layout opens the door to larger buyouts, rehearsal dinners, and corporate events that the current footprint likely cannot accommodate at scale. Private dining and events have emerged as a critical margin layer for independent restaurants navigating elevated labor and food costs across the full-service segment.

No changes to menus, ownership, or leadership were indicated as part of the move.
