Boozer Steps Into Full-Time Leadership Carlos Boozer, co-founder of Impeccable Capital, has transitioned into the full-time role of chief growth officer at the Boca Raton-based vertically integrated real estate and restaurant firm. In the position, Boozer will work across Impeccable Capital's portfolio—including Impeccable Development and Impeccable Restaurant Group—to strengthen public presence, build strategic relationships, and identify new business opportunities. He will participate in executive planning and work directly with leaders across the company's investment, development, and restaurant divisions. "Carlos has been an integral part of Impeccable from the beginning," said Rob Tanner, founder and CEO of Impeccable. "He has an extraordinary ability to connect with people and see opportunity across industries. We want that perspective involved as we grow our existing businesses and explore what comes next." "I helped build Impeccable because I believed in what we could create together," Boozer said. "I'm excited to take a bigger role in the day-to-day business, spending time with our teams, showing up in the communities we serve and bringing the right people together to help us grow."
Leveraging Visibility and Relationships As chief growth officer, Boozer will use his visibility, credibility, and professional network to attract investors, facilitate strategic partnerships, and evaluate new business opportunities. Working with Tanner and the leadership team, he will make qualified introductions, represent Impeccable at conferences and speaking engagements, attend investor meetings and restaurant openings, and strengthen connections with employees, franchise brands, and community leaders.
Scale of Current Operations Impeccable Development operates more than 25 active projects representing approximately 2 million square feet developed or under development. The firm specializes in ground-up retail, restaurant, and select mixed-use developments, working with national and regional brands including Aspen Dental, Chase, Food Lion, Panda Express, Sheetz, and Wawa. Impeccable Restaurant Group operates or develops more than 50 locations as a multiunit franchisee of Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, and Del Taco, with more than 500 team members.
Boozer's Background A two-time NBA All-Star, Boozer played 13 seasons in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers. He represented the United States at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, winning bronze in Athens and gold in Beijing. The 2008 U.S. Olympic men's basketball team, known as the "Redeem Team," was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2025. Since retiring from professional basketball, Boozer has focused on entrepreneurship, franchising, and commercial real estate. He serves on Impeccable Development's board of directors and real estate committee.
Looking Ahead Impeccable indicated that 2027 and 2028 are expected to bring major acquisitions, new brands, and strategic partnerships. Several significant partnerships and new tenant announcements remain confidential.
Why It Matters
For restaurant operators and real estate developers in the Southeast, Boozer's shift to full-time leadership signals Impeccable's commitment to aggressive expansion. The firm's portfolio—spanning 25+ development projects and 50+ restaurant locations—positions it as a significant player in multiunit franchise growth and retail real estate, particularly relevant for operators evaluating partnership and franchising opportunities in the region.
