A limited-edition launch tied to America's 250th anniversary is now a permanent fixture in Carbliss's portfolio. The Plymouth, Wisconsin–based ready-to-drink cocktail brand has rebranded its Americana Backyard Bliss Pack as the Backyard Bliss Pack — same Apple, Cherry, Grape, and Strawberry flavors, refreshed packaging — and is rolling it out to retailers across all distribution markets.

Velocity Numbers

The Circana data behind the decision is difficult to ignore. In the four weeks ending July 12, the Americana Backyard Bliss Pack ranked as the #4 highest-velocity spirit-based RTD cocktail SKU in Total U.S. Food — all while sitting at just 22% national distribution. The variety pack also earned multiple #1 rankings in Wisconsin, Iowa, and the Plains region for sales, velocity, and year-over-year growth. For beverage buyers and category managers evaluating RTD shelf sets, those figures signal meaningful white space ahead as distribution expands.

"New innovation within the ready-to-drink category continues to be an important driver of growth, and Carbliss is committed to delivering bold, flavor-forward products consumers are excited about," said Hannah Williamson, Data Analyst at Carbliss. "The response to the Americana Backyard Bliss Pack exceeded our expectations. Its performance nationally, combined with the impact it made through our Sip for a Cause campaign, confirmed that this product deserved a permanent place in our portfolio."

Veterans Campaign Impact

Beyond the retail metrics, the product carried a philanthropic dimension that resonated with both consumers and the Carbliss team. Through its Sip for a Cause campaign, sales of the Americana Backyard Bliss Pack helped raise more than $75,000 for Missions of Honor, a Wisconsin nonprofit that honors veterans. On July 24, Carbliss team members joined Vietnam veterans aboard an Old Glory Honor Flight to Washington, D.C., accompanying them to the memorials erected in recognition of their service.

"When we created the Americana Backyard Bliss Pack, our goal was to celebrate America in a meaningful way," said Adam Kroener, Co-Founder of Carbliss. "What we never could have imagined was the impact it would have. Because of our consumers, we were able to help raise more than $75,000 for Missions of Honor, and standing alongside those veterans on the Honor Flight is something our team will never forget."

What It Means for Operators

For on-premise and off-premise buyers, the permanence of the Backyard Bliss Pack reduces the SKU-management risk that comes with supporting limited-time offerings. Operators who built the Americana pack into summer RTD programs can now carry the line year-round without a packaging or flavor transition disrupting consumer familiarity. The Backyard Bliss Pack joins a growing Carbliss lineup that has moved more than 216 million cans since the brand launched in 2019 and now spans 23 states.

The RTD cocktail segment continues to outpace many beverage alcohol categories, and brand extensions that convert proven limited releases into core SKUs are an increasingly common growth lever — a dynamic worth watching across the broader beverage industry analysis. Carbliss's trajectory in the spirit-based RTD sub-segment is one data point in a wider shift toward premium, low-sugar canned cocktails that our restaurant beverage program coverage has tracked over the past several quarters.
