New Summer Menu Targets Las Vegas Strip Tourists
Cabo Wabo Cantina, the Sammy Hagar-branded Mexican restaurant inside Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, has rolled out a summer cocktail lineup featuring frozen, fruity, and spicy variations on classic drinks.
The four new cocktails are available immediately and priced at $16.90 each.
The Drinks
The Terry Bradshaw Bourbon Peach Smash combines "Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, peach, honey and mint, garnished with rosemary." The Cabo Mango Michelada pairs "chamoy, Tajin, Clamato, lime juice, mango and Tabasco with Dos Equis Lager."
For tequila drinkers, the Watermelon Cucumber and Jalapeño Margarita is "crafted with G4 Tequila Blanco fresh watermelon, cucumber, and fresh lime juice garnished with jalapeño." The frozen Key Lime Colada offers "a key lime twist on the classic piña colada with Haden's Key Lime Pie Liqueur and finished with toasted coconut."
Food Pairings Available
The restaurant's existing menu remains a draw. Signature dishes include carne asada tampiqueña with grilled sirloin steak, cheese enchilada, guacamole, rice, beans and tortilla for $27.95; Sammy's tequila shrimp in a garlic and Cabo Wabo tequila-lime sauce for $23.99; and short rib enchiladas with fire-roasted tomato sauce and crema Mexicana for $25.99.
Cabo Wabo operates daily from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m., with brunch service from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The venue has earned "Best Tequila Selection" recognition from the Las Vegas Review-Journal's "Best of Las Vegas" awards.
