A first-of-its-kind executive forum targeting the full breadth of the global luxury economy will make its debut April 25–27, 2027, at The Boca Raton, the Forbes Quadruple Five-Star resort in South Florida. The Luxury Summit is designed as an invitation-only annual gathering of 150 senior leaders drawn from hospitality, travel, fashion, automotive, wines and spirits, private aviation, wellness, and high-end real estate — sectors that rarely share a single stage.
The resort's President & CEO, Daniel A. Hostettler, framed the initiative as a response to persistent fragmentation within the luxury space. "Luxury has become an interconnected economy, yet its leaders still gather in industry silos," Hostettler said. "We are creating Luxury Summit to change that — to create a thinktank where the people shaping the industry can compare notes across categories they don't normally compare, and to set the agenda for where this industry goes next."
Why Hospitality Leads Here
For operators in the restaurant and hospitality sector, the summit's composition is notable: wines and spirits, culinary programming, and wellness are explicitly named verticals, and the event's curated food and beverage experiences are positioned as core networking vehicles — not incidental amenities. The Boca Raton itself operates more than 18 restaurants and lounges, including signature concepts developed in partnership with Major Food Group, making the property a working laboratory for the luxury F&B trends delegates will be debating on stage. That intersection of luxury hospitality and fine dining gives the forum a credibility that a neutral convention center could not replicate.
Delegation size is capped at 150 to prioritize what organizers call "candid conversation and lasting professional relationships" over mass attendance. Programming will blend keynote speakers, panel discussions, and roundtables with curated culinary and wellness experiences. Production and curation responsibilities are shared with Montfort Group, an advisory firm led by Matthew Swift, who co-founded Concordia, the nonpartisan leadership forum held annually in New York during the United Nations General Assembly. Swift noted that convening power depends entirely on assembling the right participants: "The key is to have the right people in the right room at the right time."
Research Anchor
Each annual summit will be anchored by the State of the Luxury Economy Report, a standing research publication tracking consumer behavior, leadership trends, talent pipelines, and capital flows across the luxury sector. The intent is to give the report enough continuity that it becomes a reference document for executives and investors — similar in function to annual benchmark studies that shape beverage industry analysis and hospitality investment decisions across other verticals. Strategic research partners and speaker announcements are expected in coming months, with full program details available at theluxurysummit.com.
The summit launches during The Boca Raton's centennial year — the property originally opened in 1926 — positioning it as a forward-looking institution rather than a celebratory one-off. For hospitality and foodservice professionals tracking where the luxury consumer and the capital behind that consumer are heading, the April 2027 gathering merits a place on the radar well ahead of registration opening.
